The only thing I found listed for 9.99 on that page was the black cap alone (no mouth piece, no O ring). I did not see what you are talking about, do you have a direct link?

Nah, your right, I didn't take the mouthpiece and orings into account. Sorry. Really, though all you need is a black drip tip, because one should still have the high temp o-rings.

I'm about to order a black (std) evo to compliment my T1, and I want to make sure I know how all the pieces fit together, so I get it right the first time.

If I understand correctly, the "ev" is made up of the core, the insulating body, the mouthpiece, and the O-ring. I can get this all together or individually, depending on what I need. To connect the ev to my T1's body/battery sleeve I can get an "evolution interface", or I can unscrew the T1 core from the switch assembly, and just screw the ev into that.

I really like the way the whole package looks with the evolution interface, and I think screwing and unscrewing the T1 core is not something I want to do on a regular basis, so I'm pretty sure I want to get the evolution interface.

I have a bunch of mouthpieces already, and I plan on ordering a smooth-flow at the same time, which comes with a mouthpiece, so I was thinking of just buying the ev in pieces, without the mouthpiece. I'll get a T1 switch O-Ring as well this way, since it comes with the O-Ring package, which is a plus, but I won't get the nice container that comes when you buy the ev complete, which is a minus.

Am I missing anything here?

p.s., THANK YOU ThermoEssence for the pricing structure you chose. Having the parts add up the price of the whole is a great thing for customers; most of the time manufacturers have the parts add up to two or three times the cost of the whole.

I believe you need either the Evolution interface or the ThermoVape Adapter Interface. I don't think it'll work without one of those pieces. I don't see the Evo interface on the site...

If I was going to make my T1 into a standard EVO I would buy this

http://thermovape.com/collections/b...removape-evolution-heating-core-and-cartridge

http://thermovape.com/collections/b...porizers-parts/products/evolution-heat-sheild

http://thermovape.com/collections/b...porizers-parts/products/thermovape-o-ring-kit

http://thermovape.com/collections/botanical-convection-vaporizers-parts/products/evolution-interface

I can use the mouth pieces and switch that came with my T1 for the Evo. Although another switch might be nice so I don't have to remove it when switching to the Evo or back to the T1.

The cheapest way to switch from the T1 to the Evo 6v is getting this

http://thermovape.com/collections/b...removape-evolution-heating-core-and-cartridge

http://thermovape.com/collections/b...porizers-parts/products/evolution-heat-sheild

http://thermovape.com/collections/b...porizers-parts/products/thermovape-o-ring-kit

Although it might look a little goofy.

PB88123: A little goofy indeed. (I remember that picture from TV's first announcement).

I think "your way" is the way I'm going to go too. (the parts plus the new ev interface). Saving a few bucks by skipping the interface was never in my decision process; the botanical costs where I live make the vaporizer costs insignificant.

greenbean: See the picture at the end of PB88123's post above. That's what the ev looks like on a T1 with the T1 core removed.

We could, we have the right wire to do it ;).

For you we could probably build you one for not a penny over $5,000. For that will could make you a "toast vaporizer", or a toaster made by a vaporizer company, or alternatively a toaster that makes toast that looks like a vaporizer... your choice. Let's talk about it more.
ok, I am in for the Thermo-Essence Technologies limited edition toaster  I would like to submit a few requirements. First, it must utilize high technology, I'm looking for an upgrade from my current model:

To more of something like this:

With more power:

Yeah I guess I don't understand what the inside of a T1 looks like. My bad, I didn't know it had a 510 connector inside.

Well...FUCK! I really don't need another vaporizer, but I'm REALLY keen to get the TV T1. This vape seems pretty effing cool.

Folks - should I just stop futzing about and buy the Thermovape T1 (Black, of course)??!! I have an Iolite and the MFLB, both of which I really like (about to vape a trench now, in fact ). But the TV seems like it would kick their asses. Can someone comment to help me with this decision?

I'm not a concentrate or oil user (yet), so I'm happy to see this is geared towards herb, right? And I'm on the go quite a bit, so I'm always looking for cool portable vapes. This one REALLY has my engine running, if you catch my drift. Edit: Sorry if I posted for the T1 in the wrong thread. I see this is for the Evo, but I didn't see a T1 thread. Or did I miss it? Ugh.

I'm off to vape a trench and hope to have some comments to ponder. Cheers and thanks in advance, folks!

T1 thread- http://www.fuckcombustion.com/threads/thermovape.4770/

(oops, zmurder beat me to it :p )

I am leaning towards getting the T1 conversion part myself, just to complete the collection ;) I have the Evo (both kind) and have been vaping non-stop with them since I got the technique figured out. One thing to consider is allowing a little room for patience at the beginning until you get the hang of using them. These are top notch in quality, and if you do have any issues, somebody will help you out either here in the forum, or through Thermovape's customer service, which I have found to be excellent in my experiences so far. Go check out the T1 thread, and see if that doesn't help you make a firm decision.

Hey, don't sweat that part. I know both those guys, they were disturbed long before you got here....deeply so.

I too think T1 and Evolution both merit serious consideration if you like MFLB. I tend to lean a bit to Evolution at this point, the not having to stir part is very nice IMO. And if you manage it right (different skills from MFLB, but roughly the same sort of deal, you need to understand it) and it'll reward you in Spades.

Welcome to the show, it's a great one for sure. A good cause, promoted by good folks for the most part. Soon you'll be contributing to the new guys I'm sure.

What accessories are a must have if I order the EVO LV kit? I'm assuming a few extra batteries. I'm glad Thermovape is selling the batteries, so I don't have to fool with that nonsense. Do I really need to replace the charger that comes with the kit?

I saw people talking about pure flow tips and things like that. I do not know anything about these, I'm assuming, mouthpieces. Are they a necessity?

Is the DART a must have? Is there any discount to getting it with my EVO LV kit?

The DART is seperate from the Evo, the DART is meant for concentrates instead of flowers. Not a must have by any means, but might be worth looking into if you use concentrates also. I don't believe there's any extra discount, but us FC'ers get a 10% off everything from ThermoVape anyway.

Use Coupon FC10%OFF for 10% Off any purchase!!

If you buy the Evo kit, it will come with all you need to get started, and extra batteries are good.

whoa... im gone for a couple days and look what happens. nice work TV! loving the parts options and their pricing.

NOTE: If any owners of an Evolution Kit, would rather have the insulted interface rather than the rounded interface just let use know. We will exchange them, free of charge (the rounded interface is better if you also use it for cartridges such as our Revolution, or AVA atomizer as the built in fluid well prevents leaking).

im def gonna take you up on that. what advantage does the insulated interface have over the regular rounded one? is it basically just for the heat buildup? oh and esthetics of course... looking good!

and will the battery sleeves be shipping with the vinyl end cap shown in the pic? i imagine it makes for the perfect carrying container. when your cell dies just unscrew the interface, slide out the whole sleeve and battery, un cap the fresh setup and cap the used one. done and done... very nice. looks like ill be scrounging up a few more bucks.

The rounded interface is best for liquids as it has a built in overflow well. So we recommend it for use with our Revolutions and AVA's.

You 100% correct, the Evolution Interface is designed to reduce the heat transfer front he device to your hand. Plus under the insulating Delrin cover is the threaded interface we use for our current, and possibly future tank systems for liquids and/or essential oils.

Ships with the vinyl end cap as shown. We find these are used for strong all kinds of things around here...

They are nice, billet T6 6061 Electroless nickel plated aluminum. We think they are a deal even if you just use it of storage.

Thank you for the compliment, much appreciated and very glad you like having the parts option available to you.

the speed of the evolution of your products is staggering. fun to be a part of.

after just a quick two sessions with my LV Evo... i thought about how to reduce heat to the battery sleeve itself. mine gets pretty hot and umcomfortable at times.

what about making and or offering the battery sleeves made from delrin instead of metal...?

Good idea, my switch gets really hot sometimes, would it be possible to make a small pad that presses in through a couple of holes in the existing sleeve design, that gives a thumb pad of derlin shouldn't interfere with the function this way.

I have to say the Evo + AquaVape (small) = :luv:
