So I got my AW 18350 700mah batteries from lighthound today, got one charged up, stuck it in the sabor mini, put the Evo-LV top on there, it fired up and got pretty hot, but I never could get any vapor even after running it hot for 20+ seconds. The mod seemed to handle the heat pretty well, but I couldn't get a hit even though it was hot enough around the heat core that I couldn't touch it. So that was just under the mark for having enough juice to work. I emptied the bowl, and watched it fire up, it never reached full glow. It does run the LV Dart like a champ though. So now it's down to, will the passthrough let the sabor mini run the Evo... it should be here in the next day or so. In the mean time, the regular TV batteries are working just fine.
**with what I just experienced trying this sabor mini on battery, I am guessing that the full size sabor w/ the right battery for the job would most likely work well. I did put an adapter in line as a heat spacer/buffer, so it would take longer for the cap of the mod to heat up. I'll know for sure when the PT gets here. I really hope the PT works, it would be nice to be able to use this vape with out juggling the batteries at home. I am glad I had the chance to get to know battery life, and what to expect so when I do use it out and about, I know where my limitations should be. I am also glad I can test this stuff out for those of you who are on the fence, or just curious about how it performs on different devices.
