So I'm starting to get very tempted on ordering one of these bad boys. I've read the first 16 pages so far. My questions for Thermovape at present are:

1. After preorders, how long until the next batch will be in for sale?

2. Is there a heating difference between Ti and SS?

3. Will prices increase after the presale? I know there is no discount provided at present, so it makes me curious if in the future there will be a discount, but a higher price placed on the device. Just a passing thought though.

Here's a question(s) for OF:

1. After 10 mins of the device heating and giving out vapor, does the device become too hot to touch? How long until it cools down for more usage? Does this abundant heat have any adverse effect on the bud in the bowl? I realize it will not have any direct effect on the bowl if you're not inhaling, but is it possible that if it's too hot to touch, then this heat can be transferred to the bowl and thus singe the bud in the bowl?

I don't agree with that. I agree this is not the place to discuss other vapes, but IMO it's natural and proper to ask questions like "how does the draw on Cera compare to Solo?" and "will Cera work better for me than XXX?". And if the question is legitimate, the answer is too.

The key is to keep it from degrading, of course. Up to that point, I favor free and open discourse....IMO the whole idea of a forum? It's a fine line for sure, and some will see it differently than others. While it can add to the burden of the moderators if it gets out of hand, I favor erring on the inclusive side. How else can such important questions be addressed so folks can make more informed choices?

10 minutes is an unrealistically long session if you're in a rush. You can comfortably do so if you wish, however. Just be careful where you grab it.

It gets warm in use, not as fast as T1, but it also cools down more slowly. While this is a highly subjective area, I don't think it's an issue used as intended by most owners (including novice ones). Guys who want to use it to impress their favorite band and their roadies during a break are probably going to have issues?

I don't think the goods degrade during idle.

Did you notice a weird flavor with the pure gold that was loaded into the cera in this video? Definitely a very perfume-like flavor. With a hint of mint, the hint of mint makes me feel like its made from lower quality material. But iTs convenient and very well marketed in those vials. Wax is where it's at IMO

I just had a pure gold capsule last week and I can say with 100% certainty that I did not get 36 dabs. I would say I got about 20 dabs.

And i have a feeling that the thicker/more stable essential oils will last even longer.

Wow is right I've been watching this site for some time and am really impresse with performance of this cera, being a medical patient here in Canada and being legal this vape would serve me I mean really serve my medical preferences for medicating .
I have never seen a company openly vape and discuss medications and video them in such a manner using and explaining all that is involved in using and medicating with the cera so awesome, thank you thermovape.

I've never heard or seen those golden glycerin capsules the consistency of the oil in those capsules is very thing, see through very interesting, I wish I didn't live in Canada right now dispensaries aren't the same here as they are in Cali lol enjoy the variety and selection of medication available so lucky to medicate with options

I officially retract the above statement as Tim's boss.

Talk about whatever you want. This is your forum. What I have discussed with Tim is the WE (Thermo-Essence Tech) WILL NOT talk about other companies vaporizers unless it is positive. Compare what you want, contrast what you want, we feel this is productive, valuable, and likely information other people are interested in.

Example, I think it is okay to to say that there are other great American companies building vaporizers that work really well, and that people love, such as the MFLB, or VRip Tech vapor tools. These companies offer great, innovative, quality, American made products. We feel like if you are not finding the vaporizer solution you need from us, those companies would be another great place to look.

What we will not say is... The Cera vs. _____ is no comparison. The Cera is obviously way better then the ______. It is not our place to objectively compare our vaporizer to other people vaporizers. We are not objective, nor do we spend that much time using other vaporizers.

Please, post what you like, share what you like, compare what you like, we will participate in a way that is meant at communicating what it is we do. It is our goal to use the privilege of participating on this forum to inform people about our products and the value proposition we offer.

We do not need to be everyone's favorite vaporizer, we do not need to be the top seliing or hottest vaporizer. We just want people to know what we do, how we do it, and why. Our hope is that we can provide clear demonstrations of the performance characteristics of th Cera, so that people can make as informaed a decision as possible when purchasing a vaporizer.

We will keep shooting videos demonstarting the Cera in every possible application we can imagine, so that ,we hope, people will be able to know exactly what to expect in terms of performance. The Cera will do what we say it will. We will not tell you it is something it is not. We will show you exactly what it is capable of, based on your requests, so that if you purchase a Cera from us we can be confident it will meet and we hope exceed) what your expectations were.

We truly beleive that if we just follow that simple model of clearly demonstrating the perfromance of the Cera, and then making damn sure that every Cera that we deliver will provide at least that same performance we demonstrated, that we will be sucesfull in metting your expectatioons of what you feel, and think, your portable vaporizer should do for you.

On another note. I can proabbly do a simple demo video tonight. Quick and dirty.

Highest priority for you guys?

- Cera VG (E-cig), basics, BOC?
- LL with other concentrates, through glass etc.

I can probably get one of these up tonight but not both. I'll leave it up to you folks. I'll start working on it in 1 hour.

PS: We are behind schedule on the videos. We were not really set up for this type of video editing (think bootstrap company that buys its computers used from Craigslist, borrowing families cameras, main camera is an unreliable web cam). So we have lost a lot of footage, had a lot of crashing computers, wasted a lot of time.

We had to solve some hardware and software issue to get more efficient at doing this. We just got a 2007 mac pro that was all built out just for video editing. This should speed things up. Go craigslist, $600. Plus we got a $180 video camera that is more reliable. So things should pick up in terms of our video throughput.

We are going to host the full length versions of some of our films on our website via Vimeo. It will take us a few day to get this built and uploaded. In all our performance videos I take the time in between inhalations to discuss our products and answer questions. However the video would be too long to include that in the youtube version.

I thought I saw some straight draws in there? Draw #3 and #4 he inhaled, held it in for a few seconds and then exhaled. I call that a straight draw.

Thanks for clearing the air. I feel some people don't care about who makes it, where it is made, how it is made. Some people just want to know how it performs compared to other vaporizers and why this one is different. We can mention where it is made and with what materials but some people could care less and just want to know if they put stuff in how will it work. I try to hit on those points so people can see that the Cera's performance is very good and that if they only care about how it works then they will be told that the Cera was well thought out and that one would most likely enjoy using it.

Noah could you explain the caplet of oil to me I have a link for a site but a first hand opinion you said in the video this was a first for you so what did you think? High quality in the sense of effect and duration? Taste smoothness I'd like to know whats up with that's type of medication.

I make everything myself , as you can see by my avatar and actually mabe some oil yesterday so thick and sticky it's going to sit on my shelf until cera visits me very soon, can't wait.

I did not notice any weird flavor, very light, very pleasant. I do not have a great sense of smell, so my sense of taste is not the keenest. I am not a super taster. I would describe it as clean, crisp, pure, and enjoyable. No major flavors screamed out at me, and no mint... it was complex in a very subtle way. A new experience for sure. Potent.

In the unedited video I chase this 0.5 g Gold Standard test immediately with a 0.25g = 0.5ml of thicker/more stable essential oils. This is done in one take directly after the PG was finished. So we will get that up whenever anthony returns to the living. Big project, imagine 3 hours of continuous vaping that has to become two 15 minute youtube videos.

All I will say is in my opinion you are correct, after so many inhalations from the wax (even though it was half the material by mass (equal by volume) as the PG, near the end I just wanted it to stop making vapor....

It's very effective, effects act within 5 to 10 minutes I feel it's a very effective sativex and by the looks of it similar to the pure gold caps in the sense of application and production of the sprays itself sublingual spray absorbs into the blood stream through the mucal membrane in your mouth.

Very interesting. I don't want to derail so if you can PM me info on that stuff I would appreciate it. If I can find something to get rid of my pain I would be thrilled. There is a part 2 of the video. I demonstrate additional methods. I do start the PG vid with a direct draw, I tend to mix that method in as I enjoy it. Maybe I'll slide a few in in the e-cig video... side by side of glycerol vs. eo vapor density....

I may leave this to other forum members. I used this for a demo as it was requested to me as some folks were having issues getting this stuff to run in other carts. A lot of people speak very highly of the PG. Top quality product IMO. I look at it a little like Scotch, and I like Scotch. 12 year old is very good, 15 may be better, get a 20 and your in for a treat, and I would love a 50 year old scotch to enjoy. All of this Scotch is a high quality product. The effectiveness of a 12 year old scotch is not that much different then that of a 50 year old scotch. The differences are subtle and likely important to some. I will just say I certainly understand why people enjoy that product.

Wrong guy to ask. I vaporize to demonstrate the Cera with that material. I am not going for effect and so I pay little attention, plus a chased it with another round immediately after with a High Purity waxy EO. I could/can/do vape constantly. I loved to smoke, and now love to vape. So I am never really put in the position where I feel like I cannot vape, I have not found my personally dosing threshold. Certainly not what I am attempting to demonstrate, other folks on the forum can speak better to the effectiveness of the materials in terms of potency.

Other folks here know this stuff in and out. The sheer force of determination, and work schedule it takes to keep this company running I think largely prevents me from stopping to enjoy what I am vaping in the videos, or really experience it. I just aim to prove how it will work. Some day I am going to stop and vape the Roses. In would never take 30 inhalations of PG in normal use in an hour... simply a demonstration. I would not recommend replicating that effort, another employee tried, made it to 10 inhales... that was it, time to go home, he was finished.

Your welcome. It is my pleasure to demonstrate the Cera, I take it seriously. We want you to know what to expect if you buy a Cera. We do not want to sell you something that does not meet your expectations or needs. If I have to shoot 100 videos demonstrating every possible way the Cera can be used, so be it, we just want to find the people that are looking for this type of vaporizer and show them how it will work for them. We don't have to be everyone's perfect vaporizer, just the folk who want this type of portable vaporizer. We do things differently intentionally. We do not make a conduction vaporize for loose leaf for a reason, other people already do it, there was no need for us to meet. However, there was no pocket convection vaporizer, so we could meet that need, and we like that technology better.

So we aim to meet certain needs. Our goal is to prove clear communication so we can find the people who are looking for a product like ours. Certainly not for everyone, but for some we feel it is the ultimate solution for pocket friendly portable vaporization. We really just want to do what we can, everything we can, to help people never smoke again.
