I'm not sure I understand the whip reference.
Wipe* the mouth piece and cap when needed when switching back and forth is what he meant.

OF said:So let me get this straight.....what you're saying is you hope that none of us put our orders in before and 'take the last one' before you can get there?
OK, so what's that worth to you? I mean in dollars and cents........
Good luck on making the train, I'm sure there'll be another along eventually but we all understand your angst I think.

Does this unit have a light to indicate when the chamber has reached optimal temp? I always thought that would be handy to have on the T1...
It's the same in this newer version, right?
I'm very interested to hear a good explanation for the unusual switch setup on the Cera. I've seen nothing but solid engineering from TET since I've been following them, so I have no doubt there's a good justification. But I just don't get this one.
@Tim, I'm going to assume that you guys will still be honoring past contest prize winnings for future purchases?
Is there a reason there are two switches? It seems like that would cause more confusion than anything. Hit the switch on the bottom then when the top switch is green it's on, hit the bottom switch again and it's still showing green, but it's off. And vice versa. Unless you stick to one switch it'll get confusing. At first I was wondering why the bottom piece was so thick, but then I read that it's a switch. Personally, all I need is one on/off switch. Leave the top switch and shave a quarter inch off the length by putting a non-switch cap on the bottom. Unless I'm completely missing something here.
I guess this one got missed?
as well as difference in heat-up times between titanium and steel, if any? been asked at least 2x now
Any pics of the oil chamber yet ThermCoreTim?
So would the Orbtronic 3100mah protected rechargeable Lion 18650 work for the Cera?

voila ! ordered the stainless steal loose leaf vaporizer (with 2 batteries, charger, car charger and illuminated switch (just to be the cool guy on the block !)) so European orders are possible !
TIMTIMTIM!;
Why 2c?? So then Aw IMR's 10c will fry it?
Also how long is warm up?

oops... Wipe is what i meant....
I see your point, effectively if you left both toggles on then one is not really a "safety", but it seem as though a cutoff would be problematic given its intended temperature production and range of usage, particularly across the various core and material applications. Is it safe to turn it on and leave it in your pocket (or between the cushions) until it runs out of juice? If so, the safety switch doesn't really add any critical safety. If not, the Cera should have a thermal cutoff instead of a safety switch. Vaporizers need to be walk-away safe.
Not yet, need a clean one for pictures......
Using IMR's in this vape will work, no doubt; but will be a little overkill for this particular application. IMR's shine when they are being used in constant high draw applications; like a traditional e-cig. I'd imaging with the battery life they are touting, the overall power draw of the Cera isn't too crazy.

Yeah the economy isn't doing too well but hey, in time it'll fix itself.I've got a long time friend (25 years?) from there, met him at sea. He seems pretty concerned about the economy and politics there, strangely similar to concerns of many here. Very much a minority in a small place. The whole country is the size of the San Francisco bay area, huge culture differences, lots of traditions changing. Fun times.
He seems to see "the Greens" in a light similar to how some here saw "the Reds" a generation ago...... Funny how that works out.
He often comes to visit about the time the weather there gets grim. Likes to 'come to sunny California' and run around in shirt sleeves for a while.....probably be thinking about it about now....
Good thoughts..... Thanks.
Best wishes.

We got friends in the states (PA) wich we visit a couple times a year and they visit us once or twice a year, it's always fun to be in another culture for a few weeks either here or away.
We haven't been to the west coast yet but gonna do that soon.

I think the popcorn might be for the drama that could descend upon us after the coupon is redeemed.
