@Tim, I'm going to assume that you guys will still be honoring past contest prize winnings for future purchases?
I guess this one got missed?Hey Tim, a couple questions.
Are AW IMR's not recommended? Why 2c restriction?
When you mention that your airflow controls the type of vapor, does that mean the harder you pull the lower the vaping temp? Or visa-versa? Can you click it on and pull one monster pull with in 30seconds and then shut her(Sarah)down, and it won't bake the botanicals to much on cool down? And finally, what would the average load be, .15-.25?
Thank you.
I'm definitely getting this to compliment the DV. I might have to wait a bit though since $300 is a whole lot to ask for. Can any past TV owners confirm how long each bowl lasts? I feel like I can get 5 sessions out of one full bowl on the DV.
Is there a reason there are two switches? It seems like that would cause more confusion than anything. Hit the switch on the bottom then when the top switch is green it's on, hit the bottom switch again and it's still showing green, but it's off. And vice versa. Unless you stick to one switch it'll get confusing. At first I was wondering why the bottom piece was so thick, but then I read that it's a switch. Personally, all I need is one on/off switch. Leave the top switch and shave a quarter inch off the length by putting a non-switch cap on the bottom. Unless I'm completely missing something here.
The bowl is a tad bit smaller then the t1 (20% I read) so I would think you can stuff .10 into it.When you mention that your airflow controls the type of vapor, does that mean the harder you pull the lower the vaping temp? I think having 2 ways is to prevent the device from being turned on accidentally. If you just have the top switch you may roll, bump into something that causes the top switch to move to the on position yet the device won't turn on unless the bottom one is on. If you leave the bottom button always on then you should be able to just use the top switch to turn the device on and off. More options for people to decide how to turn on and off the device with safety measures for those who want it.
If you have two switches to prevent accidentally turning it on, then leaving one of them always on defeats the purpose. I'd like to hear Thermovape's explanation of why the Cera has two switches. If it's been posted then I missed it.
We made the bowl approximately 20% smaller, this was due to the large number of suggestions by all of you our customers. We took a tremendous amount of your suggestions and addressed them to improve on the Cera, nearly everything about her is due to the suggestions of our loyal FC followers!
Small capacity was one of my big issues with the T1. Vapor production aside
I just did'nt feel like I was getting enough per bowl.
What advantages does a smaller bowl offer? (Not a rhetorical question; I'm genuinely curious as to why people requested this.)
Faster response and lower power requirements for openers. In theory heating up any herb you don't actually vape (allow to cool again) is a straight out loser. Likewise, heating the ABV up again for the next hit makes you wait longer and pay more (battery life wise) for the vapor you get.
This is one of the reasons stem vapes can be so efficient. They work a tiny load to death quickly (a few hits) then you put it in the duff can rather than heat it over and over. Reloading gets old fast of course, a compromise is called for.....that means almost everyone wanted a bigger or smaller compromise I guess?

Cool, thanks OF. That makes sense.
Continuous power/heat is a big bonus. The slider on the T1 was a pain in the neck...
Appreciate the information, thank you for taking the time to respond, although I'm not sure I understand the whip reference.Theres no real need to have a second mouthpiece, although a whip down switching back and forth might be nice.
The cores only come with the chamber itself, no mouthpiece or top-cap. The top-caps will be available in the future by them selfs but for the time being just the mouthpiece
It is only appropriate I invest in TET yet again, thank you for allowing me to do so, upon reflection the delay allowed me to add more to the order I would have spaced on initially. The TI option was a little steep for my blood considering everything I was looking for, but I do appreciate the offering and will consider it as an upgrade path if I ever gift this kit in the future.Theres a limited run for the pres-sale, make sure you reserve one before they are all gone!
