Thermal Twist Ball-less Injector Vape

Does anyone know whether the "wands"/ovens for the Ace and wireless Ruby Twist are going to be cross compatible?

In terms of coil size (ie. width) I'm very confident, the uncertainty is around the depth ie. the additional injector part on the Ruby Twist.

I much prefer the look of the Ace kit, but part of me wonders whether the Crossing wireless kit isnt more likely to be cross compatible.

I just got the Titanium Matrix Bowl for my Ruby Twist and it's a definite upgrade from the original glass and perhaps even from the microdose bowl I've been using everyday.

I've only had it a couple of days but at 515F with a little heat soak it's exceeded my expectations.

Much more even roast and more terpy.

Well worth the $70 AUD I paid

What a strange company Crossing is. Their partner retailers just casually drop pretty major products that we didn't even know were coming.

A few hours ago I received an email from VGoodies that Crossing has released a really affordable wireless version with a pretty sweet looking docking station. Configurations include flower, concentrates, or both.

This wouldn't have been particularly interesting to me as recently as 6 weeks ago, but as I think I've said previously, their hybrid Ti really changes the capabilities of the device IMO. Previously I would only ever with the microdose bowl. I actually can't think of too many peripheral products that have improved a device so much in the manner that this does.

I just wanted to butt in here and add that I bought the ruby twist on Wednesday, I got super wasted off 0.2 which is my standard dose ( was like coming up for 1h straight non stop crazy stuff) , turns out the ruby twist really doubles the punch of the same material amazing!

But the taste wasnt there at all, In my venty I am able to get so much more taste, but in my 4-6 tries not once I could get any flavour at all, ( MC is already muted flav to begin with), I was already googling and trying to buy the terpcicle coil and that phase 3 zx as I really really like the terps tasting when vaping, it seems silly since the effect is the same but man inhaling hay tasting weed is so hard especially when u got higher tolerance.

So nway I suddenly remembered that my venty wasnt so tasteful until i put in 5mm quartz balls in the Cooling UNIT, 3 on each side inside and 1 at the back and one more before the tip for inhalation.

So i started out by filling the area under the matrix ti bowl with 5mm balls, this was a bad idea as they expanded in there and also put too much mass to heat up and so the whole thing dint work very well and the glass almost got stuck in the bubbler from the heat, next I raised the screen to as high as it could go without blocking the heater going inside, and put in 3x5mm balls on the mesh and then 0.1 or more on top of em, and Wow more taste than my terpcicle for SURE!!! (resulsts may vary ), no joke how can 3 little balls quartz bring so much taste seemingly out of nowhere.

It seems that anytime u add these balls anywhere they just add/save the flavour so dam well, this is preety much any device, or any tube u can fit em in on their way to cooling, just amazing. I think original credit goes to the table top bong guy on YouTube since he gave the idea to me long ago with mighty/venty, it seems like chasing flavour most time is a dud but this is one thing that works all the dam time, just had to share it here

Initially I went with the reccomended 270-320c altho i never went above 305c, once I put the mesh screen inside Ti bowl as high as I could and added the balls 270c was too irritating and making me start to cough, So I bielive I settled on 250c still tons of vapour but now with taste. I think 240-268c is a good range for how its setup now, altho I start and finish and 250c now becasue I tried to go above normally no diff and at the end when 250c feels finished going up 270 or higher will give u very very little vapour and popcorn taste, so preety much 250c is good enough for full extraction and flavour, I will say that to get more flavour on first few pulls I did take advice from somewhere else in this forum to slow down and pull so hard, so I got the mk2 globe matrix and did just that and that was it no more chasing for me I think, maybe apart from the ceramic heaters/bowls in future or zirconium stuff.

Ok so I use 545F (285C) with a 30 second heat soak on the microdose bowl and 575F (300C) on the Ti Matrix bowl with a 10 second heat soak mostly.

But if I really want to taste the terps (usually early day) I use 518F (270c) and adjust my heat soak based on the flower.

I draw very slowly till i see vapour and then i hit it as hard as i can.

I have the same glass as you.

I did also just order 1k 6mm soda lime balls, coz im seemingly obsessed with flavour chasing now even tho im too poor for that shit

I'm planning on dropping them into the globe matrix mk2, as I tried it dry but it was too irritating to me tbh, but I know the power of glass now.

I was also looking at the Pinky it seems a fun side project but idk honestly if its worth it, also I couldn't very much find any comparisons, always looking for cheap upgrades if it improves flava !
