Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

Can the flare users recommend their wattage and timings for the TA3? My sessions have been iffy with the wand so I have swapped over to the flare/torch but haven't dialed in the wattage/timing quite yet. 105W for 45 seconds offered some nice vapor but I definitely could have gone back in for a reheat. Overall have really been enjoying the TA overall, very forgiving for a butane vape without indicators.
I love the TA! I’d use everything with the flare if I could, I’d much rather do some quick mental math than stare and count the blinks! Full timeout on both is ideal of course.

I have a TA3 sitting pretty on a beautiful little Ed’s tnt wpa, using the default ballz. It rocks. Here’s how the thermal do:

- 120w and 31-32 for flavor, 35 seconds full roast, I rarely ever reheat.
- 100w I haven’t done in a while, but I’d add 5-15 seconds.

I’d start lower and move up, sometimes when I experiment I get way more vapor when it’s low. if you go too high and accidentally singe flower, it’s way harder to get it going without a stir.

It might suck your batteries down like a milkshake, but give 120 a shot!

Just got my new @Tswoodenart infinity poker (ordered from @Wesleypipes shop) and it is incredible!! I love their work so much! The metal mouthpiece it came with was too heavy for it to comfortably stand on its own so i reconfigured it with longer glass and a wood stem from one of my TSWooden infinity stems for the toad, I also like the metal mouthpiece on the toad so it worked out well!

I love the diversity in shape, the divergence from the normal plug shape makes me a repeat fan — the first one reminded me of my dinner table growing up lol instant want

On the topic of TA, I’ve found that fine grind gives the biggest puff and I guess that’s my thing. But my screen is janked to a hockey puck naturally and I gotta get more iso

same, this is why I use the Dani Fusion 2 screens as they do not gunk up as fast.

My TA3 combusts far too often even with less heat time. Sorry to post negative and I do love it still but it just random combusts on me making me not want to use it as often. I tried with all sorts of screens, torches and grinds and it just combusts random lol

I swear I can heat it up til it glows red hot and it will not combust then at other times just heat it up a bit and it combusts then at other times its other way about.

Im quite impressed how you can get so many bad results.
Ive got my TA3 for about 3 month and Ive never get it combusted and I use the welding torch.
1 You may heating too low on the matrix, I only heat from the middle to the top.
2 With the glass balls its hard to achieve a single heat extraction even on half bowl.
3 Make it glow red then try it, once the vapour will build up from no vapour to really terpy flavour to the flavour of well roast herb from dynavap kind of pop corn.I meant it with 2 heat cycles. heat 10 seconds and try this way I bet you will never combust again.
4 This is important. If you keep the airflow wide open and heat until the matrix is glowing red if you have a intense puff(pulling too much it will combust) and if you have the airflow <closed you won't combust as I use it most of the time as a joint I always use it on the air flow close to closed so it last longer
