This yankee must have all the new powerful toys ... I got some pretty big lungs too. It is very difficult to find portables that can keep up with my strongest draws and biggest hits. Zion comes damn close, but i am still able to overpower the heater slightly on a large tube and powerful draw. Something i am unable to do with the Evo or Supreme.

Having a battery powered portable keep up with my strongest hit isnt really neccesary, but it sure would say a lot about potential power, heat retention, and overall vapor production. If the Venus can come even near the Zion in vapor production, it will be a winner and should be one hell of a vape when you consider forum factor, size, and unique new technology.

I just watched the demo video again quick. It reminds me of whatever technology The Predator had on his suit during the movies.

Cool stuff. Now if only someone could do a good in use video, showcasing what we all actually want to see and hear about. Vapor production. Awesome forum factor, control design, and fancy bulbs don't mean a damn thing if the vapor quality and production isn't on par.

Who will be the first seasoned and trusted forum member to put in their two cents with an Apollo? Looking forward to finding out.

Edit. My birthday is in 10 days. I am envisioning getting myself a nice birthday Apollo by the end of March. Maybe. Probably. Most likely. Almost for sure. I mean, don't i deserve it?

If you're lucky you might hold it in yer paws around your b-day as Ville is trying to reach all pending orders by the end of the week... Insane! :rockon::tup::clap:

Thanks for watching my videos and thanks for the kind words.

I will probably await till round two as i can't pull the trigger yet. My birthday is the 10th, don't expect to have one then but can hopefully get one on the way before the end of March. There is too much cool shit here to not try.

I'm definitely keeping my eyes on this one. I've got a big move coming up but after that if this is getting good reviews it's definitely on my short list of vapes to potentially pick up after the move once the budgets are balanced again.

Hi all! I want to be completely transparent here. and tell you that only one package has been shipped today, the assembly process is more demanding than I expected and while it is going well, some finishing touches are still necessary so I didn't want to rush them today. I try to get 10 shipped tomorrow so I think some people from this forum should be getting their tracking numbers soon.

Has anybody used the desktop venus vaporizer? Just curious if there's anyone who could say a word on the halogen efficiency/taste and such, can't seem to find anything about the desktop venus

Nah, it was just in reference to how the first unit is shipping today. I certainly wish that I had gotten mine in the mail already :p

@villekille2 Definitely sounds like you're making good progress regardless of how many ship today. If I emailed about my preference for a unit with stained wood, should I be all set?

There's plenty more it does look unique and not as thorough a review of the quality of vape but keep searching

Thanks for the honesty and full transparency. Also, thanks for the link on the reviews. I remembered the Venus thread well. Always was intrigued and have always wanted to try one. The swirrling vapor is always ever impressive from a visual perspective with the boost light.

Edit. Shit. Hadn't watched that Venus video in years. I want one again. Add it to the list!

I think the Helios will be available within a month. It is an upgraded version of Venus without battery power, but perfect for home use and accepts voltages from 6 to 14V so many opportunities are available,price point is estimated to be under 200.

Now I have some news. there is a third color option available, one forum member asked me if Cherry wood color stained version would be available and I just got a bottle, so it's something you can ask for, either the dark oak or cherry color, otherwise it is the lighter natural.
