Do you know if the boro balls be cleaned with a torch like the stock zirc ones?

I believe so, but be wary about over heating as glass melts at a lower temp than most of the other materials used. If you reach that melting point you may quite possibly ruin them for using in the cap! (and most jet lighters can probably manage that sort of temperature without much trouble).

I like the rubies best in my T2 so far. This surprised me because I like the boro glass balls best in my TA.

How would you describe the difference the rubies provide?

Unscrew the mouthpiece from the the stem, remove the heat shield and inner-cooler. Slide the C-Shape tool onto one of the 2 sets of grooves located on the mouthpiece end of the stem. Use that to set to depth of the screen, depending on what groove you use.

How would you describe the difference the rubies provide?

For me, they are holding the heat a bit better so I can get a tastier extraction on the first hit. I feel likeita a little easier to get good vapor volume too. They do take longer to heat up though.

It's not a whole different vape, but a variant I like a bit more for my personal preferences.

I also tried the Boro 2.5mm balls in my T2 yesterday and i absolutely love them. The flavour is better than rubies or zirc but in my V1 i like the rubies most. I ordered some quartz and SiC (3mm) balls and im very exited to try them soon

Yes. These are the final V2 devices, just an early batch release.

What is the kit upgrading? I thought it was basically a thicker induction sleeve for the V1 I assumed the extra things were to accommodate the new thicker sleeve.

Hi dear tempest appreciators,

I've read most of thread since the V2 announcement but could not find the information. (.. but I haven't read everything ..) If I buy the upgrade kit, the induction sleeve will be thicker - does that mean the outer wall of the sleeve will be sticking out a bit or will it be flush with the rest of the cap?

I have the V1 for almost a year and I think it's perfect. (Edit: we'll, almost perfect. The cool down click is a bit annoying ..)
But keeping the heat a little longer could be nice I guess .. I'll be going for the upgrade kit regardless. But if you know the answer it would be nice if you could share

Hi there just wondering if you got an answer for this anywhere as I am interested too, I had no problem with my v1, it just looks like a v2 induction sleeve and the bits to go with it, curious if it sticks out too

You are welcome. When you said you found a flaw, I had to intervene. I'm sure the manual will explain everything eventually.

So far the only flaw I can find is my fault for liking this too much and increasing my tolerance.

Contemplating picking one up if its not sold out by sunday (payday). Just unsure if it’s be better to wait till august or not for anything still in the works. I'm getting the feeling my choice might be decided for me because of availability but we'll see lol...

I'm back to using the V1 adapter and just bought a spare, the V2 works very well, rapidly, but it's prone to being pushed off by my arthritic hands.

The glass V1 works fine with V2, one hit extraction or dip & sip with my Ti V2.

About 1 month after receiving the temp2 I reach conclusion is a fantastic device. I have not touched my ballvape since then and my lungs are grateful because now MTL goes amazingly. Tried the boro balls and seems the extraction is faster and who knows harder hit but I do love the zirc balls, its so much like a "quick" joint. I am glad I joined the preorder of the titanium but this current green AL is beautiful. Anyway, kudos to MH for the unit and the attention to customers. Happy camper here. If you are still on the fence do not doubt is a fantastic device. I use it with wand all the time, tried with strong lighter once, its nice but not worth the hassle the wand works great and completely repeatable. For me is the first until over at 285/290 and then an additional 12 blinks to finish completely, despite probably no longer so useful.

What's the easiest way to clean the ball housing/heat indicator/cap on the v1? Mine turned yellow/gold despite only being used in the wand.
