The V2 is slightly shorter, but the upgrade kit will include the correct size thicker sleeve and updated indicator housing.

There’s still plenty of wiggle room
This time in 2025, I'm going to buy a Tempest, and I'm really happy to see that this V2 will be a real improvement.
It's nice to see a manufacturer improving its product in such a short time 👍

Will the V2 be good and easy to use with a lighter?
I sold my wand since I bought the Forge, and I think the Forge will be too powerful for the Tempest... I'll figure that out later.
But I plan to use the V2 only with a lighter.

At least with triple flame, it is much easier. You dont need to spin it fast to avoid glowing. You need to spin it, but, with the added mass, you can make 1/2 turn every 3 seconds, or so, without spinning. I mean, you have the chance to dont spin it constantly, and it works well.
It is easier to see the VI now because the slow spining (or the method i said).
And it is easier to reheat the device since thicker layer retains the heat better. (In case you need it, because its easy to kill a full bowl with one heat).

I suppose it is the same experience if you use a bigger single flame. But you still need to aim the middle of the layer if the flame is big, to avoid the VI to be rushing.

(Also, the layer have a better looking after the heat up. It still have a "strange color" but not like the previous one, cleaner. With the wand, you don´t keep a cool bronze color, it goes to the other color fast, but again, it looks much nicer).

You already have a Tempest 2?

Or are there any other bowls compatible with the V1 head?
The new bowl/cap are not compatible with the old bowl/cap since the diameter is a bit wider.

How are you liking it so far?
I love it and it is not the final one :D Just talking about the head: better looking, better abv (or easier to get), it gets me more high than the v1, the bowl keeps the heat better (It is good for instant vapor or if you use hash), and cleaner. Also the VI is way easier to assemble and disassemble.

Will be the head compatible with all the wand (there is some that have a narower hole). I aske that because I can't use my wand with the tornado by the side of the screen for example. Some are abble to do that.

How is the taste with the v2 head compare the v1 ?
