Great video. Very James Bond sophisticated look. Could you please share where you got your glass and adapter? Thanks.
Ah sorry I meant the reloadI thought that was one of the available options (while they lasted that is!)? A raw titanium finish?
A rose by any other name, is still a rose?Ah sorry I meant the reload
I was on a lookout as well and it looks like verdampftnochmal got some stock now.You guys know where I could find a Tempest rosewood sleeve? I can find the ebony in a few places, but I really want the rosewood
Throw not out into the void, lest the void chucks the lot back at ya! [Nietzsche + some poetic license]Just to throw out in into the void
Did you water cured the abv ?Just to throw out in into the void as I have no one else to talk about this stuff with..
Managed to have 2 major milestones recently with the tempest. I made my first batch of cannabis coconut oil a couple weeks ago and that hits like a brick! The reload was the only reason I actually saved my AVB, handy little device that.
I also got my hands on some hash for the first time. And damn is it great sandwiched in some weed. I kept putting my tempest back in my wand for reheat after reheat and the vapour just kept on coming 🫠
If anyone is considering either, grab the chance by the balls!
The oil was much easier than expected to make and cleanup. And now I just feel spoilt for choice having the 3 options of flower, hash and edibles! When I’ve always just been a flower guy
I’ll get some cotton and give it a go, cheers. At the moment I’m basically almost filling the bowl to full, putting in the crumbly hash, covering it with a sprinkle of more bud, then tamping it ever so slightly. It’s working but one of my bowls was preeetty oily through the mouthpiece so can see how the cotton would help!Throw not out into the void, lest the void chucks the lot back at ya! You may also want to try using a bit of vape cotton at the bottom of the bowl (just covering the screen), then either finely crumble hash on top up to top of bowl then gently tamp down 1 mm so it isn't falling out but still as loose as possible. Or, instead of hash, drop some concentrate on it. Both work a treat.

Do make sure it's proper vape cotton/rayon as that's especially cleaned. Just using any old bit of material can be toxic!I’ll get some cotton and give it a go, cheers.
Thanks for the info!I go through close to that same process with any package coming from MadHeaters. It's like the tracking services lose it for a few days, and then it arrives. I wouldn't get worried unless it's a couple of weeks behind expected delivery.
I use it open, I heat it to 280C until the time over for the first bowl, for the subsequent back to back I remove it as soon as it clicks or it is 100% combustionHas anyone fond a good way to use the tempest with wide open airflod on the cap? I use it closed almost all the way, otherwise i just get hot air and no vapour or combust if i open it too much
Do you have to be careful with your draw? How do you pack it? I hate combusting, gotta do a deep clean right awayI use it open, I heat it to 280C until the time over for the first bowl, for the subsequent back to back I remove it as soon as it clicks or it is 100% combustion

Personally, I try to pack as light as possible to get the max airflow through the bowl, airports wide open on the cap and heat to about 590℉ to timeout on the Wand. I usually find the straw method works better than the push-to-pack method for a loose fill, though also depends on the strain/batch and how it's been cured/prepared and how dry it is, etc.Do you have to be careful with your draw? Probably best not to, as you'll be abrading the outer surface. How much that would change their behaviour is hard to say, but it seems rather an aggressive way to clean them, not to mention how hard it's going to be to firmly hold each one in turn as you polish away!question about cleaning the zirconia balls. i was reading the manual and saw the two ways of cleaning where you can either torch the balls or use some sugar soap.
I normally use iso then a baking soda paste i make to polish up the metal bits on my tempest head. Could the baking soda paste be used to clean/polish the ceramic balls? or will it damage them?
