The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

No it doesn’t, it’s meant to be used natively. Initially the first proto did support it, but it ruins the look unfortunately and needs 2 additional o-rings to work.
I don't mind adding some o-rings if thats the case. If you have designed it completely around native use, then I find that quite exciting to be honest as that will be my preferred method.

Yes, there is no screen at the end of the spiral and no DRC feature, but it has a POM bearing within the mouthpiece. It cools a bit better with the Ti sleeve and it can’t get hot to the touch.

So the DRC feature will be gone, replaced by the “helix tube” if I’m interpreting the instruction diagram right? Why no more DRC?

The tempest itself has one built-in :)
I guess I’m trying to understand what someone “upgrading” a revolve gen2 is going to miss out on, if anything. Get the tempest tip, get the new sleeve, then what, you’re 90% there?

Just picked up a revolve from vgoodiez, late to the party but I’m finally here…

The gen 2 CU has more features, you won’t miss out on anything. The airflow control and mesh are now built into the Tempest tip/cap, that’s why it’s missing on the new one.

While a whole new product, I would have loved to have seen vertical cooling fins on the tip to have lined up with the Rev2 sleeve. But I understand as it works better with the aesthetic of the new sleeve (functional too probably)

I’m curious how to use this effectively?
You can see it on the manual on the previous page or just stick it into an induction heater, preferably a timed one like the wand.

It wouldn't look good on the gen 2 Ti sleeve either way unfortunately, the cap is too wide.

@Brenyo What type of screen will be going in the tempest? Will it be a more engineered screen like the DVs etc or just a more regular mesh screen?

These are some of the planned colors that you'll be able to mix and match:
