by glass tube are you referring to the wand adaptor? afaik the glass was removed in v2 for increased performance as detailed in this thread.

Ah thanks, missed that one. Now i'm all set, but I think I'm gonna give my V2 stem another rinse and use the v2 head on the v1 stem.

Can you watch the Visual Indicator through that little gap from the sideview, while heating?

Yes you can see it.

If you cant see it clearly you can just push the Tempest up until his little head pops out
