about to pull the trigger on the vapium. reliability issues? seems to be a lot of charging/battery issues. should I look at a different portable vape? this seems like a poor man's pax 1 but the pax is reliable.
I can't figure out how to get the metal tube out so I have to swallow the end now every time I take a hit.
I hope you got a real one and not a copy, if there are copy's out there. And I have to wonder if it got dropped or knocked around a bit. If so, I don't know if you can make a warranty claim. If not, I would.I've had my Summit since November of last year and I already had to super glue the bowl area once because of a piece that cracked off. ...my old mouthpiece broke while connected. I can't figure out how to get the metal tube out...

Still enjoying mine. Had to replace it once. No issues since. I have a pretty large rotation though so it doesn't get used regularly.
Thank you for the welcome! I have been lurking around for the last couple of years...since I converted to vaping. All of you amaze me with your wealth of knowledge. I hope to add as much I can. Namaste.Welcome to FC @lauri melissa! So glad to have you here!
What needs to be done is a automatic, variable brightness control, needs to be in the next revision. That, and a variable off timer, with haptic feedback, when the thing goes to sleep.
I like the 90 second cutoff as i can use it to guage the session. 1 for ok. 2 for good times. 3 for woohoo! Etc, and the wait time as it heats between timeouts often results in bigger hits, but i can see how varaible length would be a great feature for most.
Haptic feedback when it times out would be at the top of any list i would think.
Also just remembered. Showing the remaining battery life as it turns off would be good too.
I do like the 90 sec as well, although I've noticed if i forget, the standby can also chew through the limited battery life as well, if left on.
They have added a feature that when the unit is in standby with the lid off, if you press the go button this reveals the battery life.
The problem I have with the new mouthpiece is the fact that the metal tube from the old mouthpiece is stuck inside of my summit. I can't figure out how to get the metal tube out
