I had originally thought my sublimator was losing wattage, but it `settled`at a new sweet spot after a couple months and has not moved since. I`ve used it as a 24-7 on when I first got it, and switched to only turning it on when I use it later. It can still glow red from putting it on max heat and clean itself, and is pretty reliable for finding temperature. I haven`t cleaned my atomizer in maybe 4 months, and it sees heavy daily use. She drips a drop almost every session. The only maintenance I do on the thing is cleaning the bong and torching the screen once every few days. I use one ultrafine screen on the top shelf.
No vaporizer I`ve hit can compare to the sublimator in quickness of extraction and vapor density and smoothness. The atomizer collects large vapor particles for later smoking that wouldn`t be absorbed, and it truly delivers the best punch to the face, even over my friends cloud. You can truly dump .5 of finely ground material in the sub when its set to a very high temperature and finish it in one yellow thick combustion free hit that leaves you sweating and crying. The biggest downsides are the fact that it is extremely hot and dangerous, I have burned my self and my carpet more than once to say the least, and it takes about 15 minutes to get your temp to a good vapor range. But I won`t part with this sublimator until it stops kicking, and it does not seem like it will stop any time soon. I`m slightly envious of the dabmaster, but still don`t see myself getting a new sublimator until a full titanium atomizer and dabmaster with all hot metal being titanium is available, and even then, I see the difference being minimal.
