Old School
Vape13man
I know this is an older post but I just had to thank Seek for this explanation... I have been wondering what all the hub bub was....really was that it I was getting the impression it was going to be something bad or immoral..... I'm beginning to feel for the guy....whom anyone can see and feel is very passionate about his new discovery....as I know I would be....Yes, that picture explains the process in the device well and why it should work like advertised.
I can see this can be very powerful performer, yet unlucky escpecially with its advertising (sublimation) in its first thread.
It was said to go beyond vaporization by doing sublimation. Seems like half true to me now.
This probably goes innovatively beyond current vaporization, but differently.
The picture shows it uses powerful vortex of hot air to vaporize (similar to Cloud) and then destroy the large particles in vapor into smaller in the atomizer.
I think the Cloud beat this in taste, cleanliness, ergonomics and looks. Probably in heat consistency and less drag?
The sublimator sems to go beyond vaporization and therefore beat everything else including Cloud in absorbtion rate of vapor it makes.
So it seems to make the vapor more "gasey". Yet this doesn't make it sublimation.
Vaporization: Liquid -> Gas
Sublimation: Solid -> Gas
Traditional vapes: Solid -> Liquid -> Aerosol
The Sublimator: Solid -> Liquid -> Aerosol -> Gas
So we can see that even traditional vapes aren't actually vapes either. They start with solid (mostly).
Sublimator can seem like sublimating if looking at it like a black box. inside it does several different processes to achieve similar goal.
So ty Seek for this ....I really like the black box way of viewing it {goes in -> comes out} I did however in my mind replace "Aerosol" with vapor, I often feel when we call or label something....is it that important to get the definition correct...or should it be more important that we all know what it is actually referring to {that soothing white yumminess we love to inhale}
So I see this as a very interesting innovation. This is not a sublimator, just a vape - innovated to make the vapor finally absort faster. While still delivering strong performance as heavy hitters.
I think many people are put off by vaporization just because of this property of traditional vapor. Probably the innovation could change this.
I know I have 11 more pages to finish reading yet but thus far.... I am very interested in this device and more so this approach of "Super Charging" the vapor before intake.....sounds excitingly efficient...
Now it might have something to do with my living down here in the good old USA capitalist pool but I have witness a great many creative marketing stretches and or tie ins and IMO calling / selling this device as a sublimation "box" it kinda sort in the end does....so why not....I know I wanna try me a little bit of whatever this baby has to offer......
I'm also secretly hope that some of the other manufacturers will be able to look at adding a Super Charging phase into tomorrow's vaporizers....
