Almost there...
I have upgraded my cheap China Enail controller with a High5 Basic controller and flat coil.
Using a slightly lower temp of 325C and it is so much better in all ways!
ABV comes out a light brown, stacks of vapor and flavor and massive effects!
In the future I will stick with name branded controllers as they seem to run better, possibly higher quality internal components.
I do like the dual switches for power and coil, leaves you free to program with a cold coil.
Somehow the SV4 has become my go-to Daily Driver.
It's so consistent and powerful and easy to use.
If anyone wants to jump in the water, I would recommend the High5 range of controllers and coils!

Are using the sv4 with the stock bowl or using it your way with a screen and little 14/18mm bowl?
The stock sv4 bowl sucks as it is cumbersome to use if trying to do back to back bowls.
Thinking about switching out my coil from the SV4. It was the one Ed was offering as a kit that included a ground plug and some basic digital controller. I rather use my pelinail than some unknown brand controller.
I removed my stock sv4 coilby prying the slot open and bango out comes the flat coil.
Any leads or ideas on a flat coil that fits the sv4 and is 5 pin std xlr?

I never use the stock bowl system. For such a powerful vaporizer it is an archaic loading system that relies on different types of heat all at once. I do not like timing my hits and waiting after inserting the stem, results vary and drives me crazy!
I only use my glass bowl that only uses convection heating for extraction.
It is far superior to the stem loading.
As far as XLR connections and controllers, I have no idea what works with what. Way too many options out there... There is NO standard...
I would recommend going with a set of a controller and a coil that are made to work together.
The High5 range is affordable and reliable!
I used to use a High5 coil with my China controller but find the High5 setup to be far superior!

I’m getting modded plates for my SV3 but I’m posting here cuz I think it’s basically the same as a SV4..
I’m super exited to take the torch out of my supreme experience and get back to using this beast of a vape more. I see @lazylathe is using glass adapters as a bowl for convection hits and that looks amazing. What kind of bowls are those? Are they vapocane adapters? Please correct me if I’m wrong. I wonder if I can find one or two to buy..? If not I’m sure a 14mm female to male adapter of some kind could work. Any advice is appreciated. Also what temps are you running on your PID for the supreme. I have no idea where to start lol.

It sure will. That's all the Vapocane adapter is really, a 14mm F-M like you said. I didn't like the fact that the frosting on the joint would disappear when in use w/ the Vapocane adapter & SV3, so I ended up getting one from @Oregonglassblower & never had that problem again.

Maybe a tad pricey for some considering it's just an adapter, but we'll worth the dough IMO, especially if your gonna be using it a lot. My Vapocane adapter looked like it was made by drunk monkeys. The screens though are some of the best I've ever used.

Haha thanks for the recommendation man. I’ve been using @Oregonglassblower for years lol. A bit pricey yes but totally worth it if you want an adapter that works and is going to last. I will probably get one from him eventually. Need to chill out on the vape purchases right now lol.

Super fast extraction with great taste. I leave it on for most of the day so it is always ready to hit!

Hey everyone. I just bought a Supreme v4 on here and took the coil out because I don't have a controller for the coil yet. Thinking about either the newvape controller or a High Five controller.
But anyways, I've been using a propane torch as well as an infrared thermometer to heat up the v4. It works fine, but sometimes combusts if I'm not putting a lot of attention into it.
I have been reading the temp on the flat surface that I put the torch up to, and hitting it when it gets to ~340 f. If I go much higher, it combusts. If i hit it there, I get pretty thick vapor.
But my question is about the controller. I have never used an enail before, so I really don't know how they work. Does someone have any advice on how to use a controller with the v4? What temperature should I turn the coil up to? How long does it take to heat up?
Any advice or tips would be appreciated. I'm stoked to use the sv4 for its intended purpose.

Oh. Oops. I forgot to mention my v4 came with an EZ Bake coil on it. I assume this has regular xlr connections?

Never assume anything when talking XLR connections and vapes... there is no standard.
You will need to open your XLR connector and note the PIN OUT positions of the wires.
This will tell you what controller it will work with.
You could also do the logical thing and contact the seller @Dubmonkey and ask what type of controller it was used with and get the same kind.
Or go to the EZ bake site and buy one of their controllers that you know will work with your cool.

The EZBake coil is regular dnail xlr wiring set up.
You will need to experiment on dialing in your temp for the sv4.
On my pelinail I cannot recall what temp I used. I did start at 300 or 350 and tried a bowl. Didn’t get the result I wanted then I upped the temp by 30-50 degrees. Until I got the vapor color and thickness I was seeking.

300 to 350 f? I hear people talking about bringing it up to hundreds of degrees c, that's why I ask. So the newvape and high five controllers won't work with the EZ Bake coil?

New Vape will not work, different style connector.
I run my SV4 at around 315 Celsius.

It is amazing!! Check the video at the top of the page!
I also use it differently to how you are supposed to use it..LOL!
Once you find your temp, this thing is a cloud monster that will get you seriously medicated!

DNail pin outs:
1, 2 - power
3 - T+
4 - T-
5- Ground
High5 pin outs:
1,2 - power
3 - Ground
4,5 Thermocouple
So High5 is a no go! BUT it all depends on how handy you are!
Do you have a soldering iron or knows a friend that can use one?
Takes 5 minutes to rework the pin outs to whatever controller!

Darn. I know how to use one but currently dont have one. Are there any guides I can read online about how to rewire one? Or if you know of any cheap enails that will work with the EZ bake, that would also work.

Does this one work with the EZ bake coil? I can't seem to find the pin configuration on the website.
If I can go with something like the RDK 200 like Hogni mentioned, I think I'd prefer to do that.
