Went on another hike today. This was my favorite pic I'd taken from the peak (7,142 feet elevation).
The view was breathtaking in every direction from up there!

Osprey returned from Mexico early April. In the 30 years I've lived here, the ospreys have utilized the avian perch outside my townhouse for a nest only 3 times: here is a picture of an osprey next to one of her 3 babies. I expect she'll begin to show them how to jump up and flap their wings soon.

Ok ... my pick for a Dem candidate to take on Donald Dick would be Gov Andy Beshear of Kentucky, two time winner in a red state and great to have around in a hurricane

I'd be fine with that. I think any non-Newsom Governor would be great. But Americans are very simple people. I could see them simply going for the largest candidate. May I present, certified Big Boy JB Pritzker:
