so i might have just tried something dumb. i wanted to get a sub ohm e cig set up going so i got an aspire atlantis tank(0.5 ohm coils) and sony vct4s and put one in my persei.
Worked great right off the bat, took probably 15 hits from it, then decided to charge my batteries a bit more since they were new and hadn't been fully charged yet. Put them back in and it won't fire. the light wouldn't even turn blue unless i held the persei upside down. even when upside down though, the atty still wouldn't fire. I tried putting the top onto the core and the blue light comes on fine, but still won't fire even my 2.5 ohm pro tank.
Did i fry my persei top? seeing as a hercules at 7.4v makes about 23 watts, i figured 27 watts would be fine. I can't be positive but from my research my sony vct4s are authentic.
would i be correct in assuming it would be unwise to run 27 watts through one side of the persei double cartridge top?
edit: from what I've read a ways back in this thread it might be due to using the 610-510 adaptor and possibly screwing it down too tightly. Would this make sense? I know the persei isn't "user serviceable" like the 8, but do you think someone with a fair bit of electronic experience could fix one?(my friend not me)
