To test with a probe multimeter you need to set it to read ohms and put one probe on the threads and the other on the contact pad on the bottom of the kiss

So, I've got a V4 Persei top acting weird. I'll be screwing on a cart or even in the middle of taking a rip, when it starts flashing blue and shuts down. I'll 5 tap it to start it up again, start trying to use it and pretty quick it'll flash and power down again . I've got my battery's adjusted up high, so it's not loosing that connection. Could be two things, battery issues or top, what batteries are you using and how old are they?

I've got 2 sets of the older 18350 AWs and one set of the new ones with the black stripe. Im pretty sure its happening with all 3 sets.

The Hammer Top is really built like a tank we have had a few go down, but still not enough to worry because of reliability %.

As for pressing it twice only thing i can think of is maybe the switch internals, but this too has to be verified by us as that is the only way possible.

On the other hand doubt its gonna go down, but if you do not like it send it in and if its in warranty we will repair it.

Yeah, not a problem until it stops working all together. its all good for now.

Make sure your two screws on the very top are tight, mine got just a hair loose one time and I thought my top was screwed up, tightened one screw like 1/32nd turn and everything worked fine again heh... never had another problem since.

Mine was loose, tightened, fixed it! I was having the same problem randomly

We are aware of this issue and are working on it but the best solution if it's loose then use a tiny drop of lock tight and should fix the issue

I managed to munch my SR-74x black bottom adapter.. again..

Are either of these available as accessory/expendable items, and how do I help you take my money (wanting to tack on a nibbler order to cover the shipping.. sounds fair?)

Has anyone used 91% ISO to soak and clean kiss carts? Or is this to low of a percent if so where do I find higher percent ISO. Thanks

I've actually never been able to find higher than 91% in California at a store. I found it online at places like amazon but then tons of reviews made me think twice about it. Unsealed bottles, different brands than the picture/description and some other shady stuff, I guess it depends on the marketplace seller selling it. I'd order directly from a manufacturer or a more dedicated chemical/medical store if I really wanted 99%.

99% is awesome but hard to find. Medical shop/pet feed medical stores/ usually have them in stock. Almost always you have to buy the gallon. You can heat up any percentage alcohol and it will clean up much faster.

Nice! Thanks stormy I went ahead and soak it last night that makes me feel allot better . I just took it out from soaking all night looks pretty clean now what just let it sit till its dry and do a couple dry burns in a few hours or should I just do the dry burns right now without waiting any advice ? and found the SS two shorty parts I purchased recently does not fit the threads
(please -- no one even try to test -- the last thing u want is to accidentally strip it --- )

Also a quick fix for user error that we discovered can happen is being introduced in current 8's we have in stock, it's an easy upgrade you can do yourself. Get a very thin piece of rubber band cut 3 mm section and place it under the bottom cover like so. This makes sure that if ever the gold contact piece in the button assembly is not properly screwed in that it will not create a short. If how ever the gold piece in the button assembly comes loose and touched the button cover without this piece it will create a short and we all know some of you do not use the provided circuit protection board. Hope you guys can do this and save yourself some headaches.

Should be able to find 99 iso at vons... maybe 97.. either way, put the iso in your glass, microwave glass/iso for 10 seconds. Warm 70 percent works just fine. Iso boils in the microwave at 15 to 20 seconds with high power.

So I've been thinking about the Persei/Hercules "best of" thread, I think the best way would be to get the ball rolling with a user created guide with our best knowledge thusfar of how to use/care for the Persei/Herc combo with a few different sections all in one post at the top. If we try to just add posts it's all going to get jumbled again I'm afraid lol..... Hercules Usage, maintenence, cleaning, assembly tips/tricks, Persei w/battery, Persei w/Core, kiss tips/tricks - a few good categories for starters that we could fill in with our learned goodness. I'm sure there's more that I'm missing...

Its how i clean literally all my glass. Iso in the piece and piece in microwave- if it fits.

Dont notice anything happening to the wax resins, but the warm iso strips it right off. Maybe a lil decarb in the process? I save all my iso reclaim and freeze it, filter it, then evaporate in the oven at 200. Makes a nice clear dark shatter/sap that knocks you on your ass when you put .1 in a cap and consume. Gave .4 to a friend once and he was in a coma for a day and a half.

Just came back from Vegas!! Busted a all night adventure with my close friends. SR71+8 is my weapon of choice. One load lasted me all night. Came back to the suite around 8am after soo much fun. Still had more hits left in the SR71. Took easily over 50-70 hits thru the night. 1 gram.

Back when I lived in Vegas, ppl told me the police were very strict on mmj, not like California. I'm not sure if it was a scare tactic. So never tried any mmj in public.

I think it is the warm ISO that does the magic. If you don't feel like using a microwave, warm some ISO in a pot, placing the ISO in a glass cup, and fill the pot with hot water and let the ISO heat up.

I run hot tap water over the piece until it is warm. Then pour in the room temp iso. This has nearly the same effect. Just don't let the hot water inside the piece if you are collecting reclaim.

Flammable liquids in the microwave is a really really [bad] idea, just saying.

Putting the ISO into a baggie or dish and then putting it in hot water is a much safer, less [bad], way to warm up the ISO.

Please don't advise people to do something so [bad] as putting flammable liquids into a microwave. If you want to do it that's fine, but don't go advising others to make the same [bad] mistake.

I am not trying to be mean, just spreading some common sense. Yes, I did use the word [bad] a lot.

Yup, I used it as a e cig. I walked the strip hitting the SR. I gambled hitting the SR. In the casinos, I guess the tobacco cigarette overpowers the stench of my clouds. Never got a weird look or anything. Just treated it like a e cig. Now if I was hardcore chain vaping in one area for a long time, maybe I would get noticed. One guy asked me about it, but he knew what it was. So that means he is my friend lol. I mean everyone in Vegas is on something. Using the casino bathrooms you hear people snorting all the time. Maybe people are too stuck in their own world to notice my 8 vape. Once I used a kiss cart in Vegas but the reloading procedure made it hard to hide it. As a result I received more looks, but none from police. The Hercules SR is the king of Vegas.
