That's the iris. The 8 is a mechanical top no electronics so no adjusting, except different battery configurations
the hammer doesn't have an on/off feature. At least mine doesn't. The only tops I have had that had the on off feature is the iris and the V3 Persei top, which I had to send back :-(
Also like the answer above the 8 doesn't have electronics so it probably won't have on/off

Im curious when the upgrade is available the price is subject to change correct? And there wouldn't be a problem if i ordered my herc 74 and also order the upgrade at the same time? Besides maybe spending a little more cash(which isn't a problem
). I can only wait for so long

@c0rpse I have the Okeanos, and I get it to work really well for me. That said, LAYG does not fit my lifestyle, so I do not use the Okeanos often. I would say that if you are a fan of the KISS cart, then the Okeanos is the best way to enjoy the KISS. But if LAYG does not work for you, having this fantastic mini-water-tool isn't going to make the device more useful to you.
I wish I had purchased the Nibbler XL instead, because I hit the Hercules all day every day. That said, maybe the grass is greener on the other side? Surely I would have broken an N-XL by now. My Okeanos has taken maybe three spills, the kind of falls which surely would have shattered a Nibbler. Like, being knocked off a 4ft dresser onto a hardwood floor, which the weight of stainless steel mech mod attached. The Okeanos isn't stealth -- but it fits in my pocket, and fits in with todays mech mod e-cig culture. The day WILL come when I crack or completely shatter the glass of the Okeanos, but it is a simple and inexpensive replacement. If W9 stops stocking the Okeanos and spare parts, the glass can still be obtained from ibtanked or my local glass blower. I am convinced that I will break the N-XL, which would require a replacement of the entire unit.

Hmmm, if I can't get a metal Nibbler XL, then would someone be kind enough to 3D print me one out of abs?
We have a couple of members that do 3D printing.
You might end up waiting longer doing it that way. Usually if you order something and a preorder item at the same time they will wait til everything is available to ship. So you might have to wait until the okeanos upgrade is available for them to send out your herc as well...My waiting paid off!
click 5 times to turn off? I don't have mine on me at the moment but I'm almost positive it doesn't turn off mine is an Hxxx as well. I think they all are

You just said "on/off" feature in your original post, I was responding to that.
Mine is just one click on, one click off. No hammer tops do the 5 clicks on/off thing as far as I am aware.

I am wondering how I can transform my Perseii/ Hercules rig into a desktop model by adding a wall plug either by choosing the proper transformer or by maybe or ordering the one from MF (http://www.vapecritic.com/vaporizers/mflb-adapters/)
My batteries last for a day max. Im sitting here having to wait hours for the charge. I don’t like it. Anyone ever tried this?

The Core works fine and I have one, but for the longest time I got by with having 3 sets of the AW batteries and the nitecore 4-bay charger. With this, one set can be in the persei, and two sets charging all the time. The disadvantages to this are it's a lot of work, and batteries eventually die. The advantage is the persei never loses its portability.
The Core is nice because I don't have to remember to keep charging the spare batteries.

I read through some TV threads, sounds like "good" is being generous. I have a friend who is convinced on spending her hard earned cash on their gear, and I want to give her the 411 that can inform her decision. Neither of us can handle more than two hits from a hot Hercules7.4, but I don't want her spending money on less effective gear.
Oh gotcha, I thought the OP was referring to on/off like the V3 tops, Iris top and most other ecigs have...
The on/off on the herc is how it works, so I didn't even think twice about it

Well first off, the Evo is a herb cartridge, Hercules is mainly oil. If your looking for herbs I would say the Evo since that was designed for it...
That being said the Evo is an inferior model compared to the T1 which worked much better. And both of those are outdated because the cera/luna is their new model. I've never used the Evo or T1 but the design of cera is based on the T1 and the cera is the the second best herbal portable I've used. So if I was going I recommend a Tv product for herbs it would be the Cera, t1 should work just as well but battery life sucks so you'll probably only get 1 full load from fully charged batteries.
As for oil,I had the cera LL and EO before the Persei/herc. I have since sold my TV gear with no regrets and no plans to go back.
I still have a dart(pre cera oil cartridge) I use for pure gold though. You can pm me if you have further questions because I don't want to derail the thread...

Sorry for going off topic, but why is the Persie better than the evic for KISS carts? I used the KISS carts with a gpen battery and it worked well.I use the NANO with a JHOOK and a ASH COLLECTOR at Level 7.0 and it's full blown gourmet if you like flavor or if taste is important to you?

The thing about the PERSEI is it's powerful and I have a EVIC for oils however for SHATTER the PERSEI is head and shoulder better. (IMO)
The SOLO for portable and the NANO is always plugged in and ready to medicate.
