I labeled it user error, as I have only been able to replicate these issues by intentional misloading/overdrawing etc. I can only speak from my direct experience. As for the lubing orings.....maybe it's not as common sense as assumed, but I have always lubed anything with them to promote a better seal. Automotive experience maybe? As to the glass issue, I am willing to believe in a flawed section of tubing being out there. It's glass after all. Replacements are cheap (I know cuz I bought one), so no biggie. As for injuries......care is needed...it is glass. That said, there was an aftermarket o ring involved, so who knows. Maybe it overtaxed the tube in that ONE case. Mine was out of left field so who knows. Probably just flawed glass. Shit happens.
For the record.....As a version 1 unit.....I still dig it. When used right.....it's got no equal.
