At 3.7 I do a pretty small bb sized snake along the coil and get more than 2 hits out of it. Globes seem better at it than cartridges. Black wicks especially, just melt it in there a little first. Also none of my product get's wasted, you just scoop it out of the cup when it get's to messy and vape it. At 7.4 my kiss cartridge obliterates everything in 1 or 2 hits. I agree with @konmo , it sounds like you want the herc. The herc holds up to 1g and gives you whatever kind of cloud you want depending on how you use it.

Edit: Also I like the one 2.4 ohm eo cart I have, I hear some people have had taste issues with it, but it's been super convenient when I want super small stealth I don't have to load.

Get yourself a sr74 or sr71. Sounds to me that is what your expecting from your kiss cart. The sr71 are on clearance .

It's the learning curve of the original ohm cartridges that has turned me off from purchasing sr 71 or 74. I can't afford to torch $.

I know what I purchased (obviously), as I have tried about every coil out there. But I want more. Hard to think I am the only one that thinks something is missing from the market.

Kiss carts are load as you go (LAYG), so my personal interpretation of that is to never load any more than I intend to vape within 1-2 hits. If any falls off the coil, I keep a pocket dab tool to get it back on. With this method, my 3.7 carts usually last through about 2-3 grams (high quality, $60-90/gram) before they start to taste like ass. They usually burn out by the 4th or 5th gram. I normally don't clean them at all, just rebuild whenever I deem necessary.

The herc is something that everyone that dabs should own. Don't matter what quality you got, throw it in & play some Marley. I've put like 8 grams of funky ass $20 wax in that mother fucker & it took it like a G. Just beware, not all young jedi can master the light saber overnight.

@DaNi_DuB speaks the truth. There is no fool proof cartridge available right now. Well at least a true vaporizing cart. The Herc can do what you want. It will conquer your lungs. But the operator must fully know his machine.

It's not the 3.7v melting the product, it's the higher temp I want and a rip roaring pen hit (if that's possible.) I have eyeballing glass lately, but tbh, the pen is just stealthier and safer.

I guess the biggest issues I have overall is just mess and some waste of product . I don't like to keep opening it but I also want flavorful draws.

i advise against loading a full gram unless you double stack coils and are confident that you will take the full time to properly cool it. you have to realize that if you load a gram, it's going to melt and heat up that entire gram, and if you don't subsequently cool it to the point of re-solidifying the entire gram, you of course will have leaks. This is simply the nature of the beast. I advise loading like .3 every day or as needed

The Herc is the BEAST you seek. BUT the learning curve is steep for some. If you do buy one, be sure to take it apart, watch "G"s videos, put it back together. Lather, rinse, repeat. The more familiar you are with the Herc, it's parts, and how they go together, the better your experience will be.

The Herc does not take very long to learn and you can get GREAT hits from it once you have it down. I haven't personally tried to load 1g into it yet, but it can definitely handle it. Of course you would have to make sure to properly cool it after hits so it does not leak.

Yay Area born & raised. I only fuck with top shelf, brand name, & properly purged shatters (looks like orange/amber tinted glass) for the most part. First class concentrates, nug run, & rump wax ALL DAY.

You won't regret getting the herc

So after having tried the KISS carts for awhile I have a question for you all. Do you really enjoy the taste of the 7.4v?

I think the 3.7v 1701 donut, globe and KISS carts all taste amazing. Particularly the new Ti Gr2 coils paired with the black wicks. But I've tried the 7.4v KISS carts on my Persei with and without the Okeanos and it is just really harsh.

My Herc on the other hand delivers monster clouds that taste incredible at 7.4v. I've actually never tried the SR-74 at 3.7v and now I think I should pull out that black rod and see how I like it.

The 7.4v kiss cart taste just like the 3.7v in my experience. You have to do button "taps" on the 7.4 kiss cart. U can not ride the button. U will burn the wax and get a harsh hit. I usually load a little more wax on the 7.4v kiss.

See this is my problem. If I buy a KISS cartridge, I should be able to pack that thing with more than 2 hits. If I wanted 2 puffs, I'd use the micro g (get more than 2 off than tiny thing as it is.)

Who wants to open every 2 puffs? Even with a small amount they get blasted at 6-7.4 volts and the 3.7 won't power past hard product. Oil splashes and eventually gets in the grooves, even at 3.7 with a tiny pea. And the last 5 KISS cartridges I bought lasted less than 2 months and one was defective.

So what coil should I be using for larger capacity and higher voltage past 4.2, besides Herc obviously.

I load .5g+ in kiss carts and don't bother with them for a while. I even load the cone up too. The taste is fine. Purchase several and use in rotation. Clean the bench players when you get time. Mostly I don't hassle with LAYG either. Yes, I'm a rule breaker!

I tried this just now where I literally tap the button on the 7.4v Persei. Taste is massively improved. It is still very harsh to me though. The 7.4 KISS cart makes me cough whereas the SR-74 I am taking monster clouds and can barely feel it.

You can try putting in more wax/shatter on the coil. Saturate the coil by tapping the button and melting in the wax. Load more on top of that and u should be good

I gotta say, I didn't like the taste of the old kiss carts and all the other carts like it from all manufacturers. I only liked the Herc for its flavor. Until I tried the new globes with the dark wicks and the new kiss carts with the dark wicks!! Both I've tried are the 3.7 volts. The taste is amazing! It even compares to the Herc imo!! And that's very hard to do! Of course the Herc gives bigger clouds tho. It heats slower and actually vaporizes the oil instead of completely burning it right up! And I pack a decent amount in it too and get a bunch of hits b4 I need to reload! And I'm using hard as a rock shatter with the 3.7 volt with no problems! I can't wait to try the new Kiss Alpha C carts when they come out next!! Hey G, any eta on those yet??
