I'd be interested to know this too... I was just looking into getting an rda and adapter to make it work on a persei. Pretty new to the whole concept but it seems intriguing. What mod did you buy itschad?

good morning! quick question..do you have an ETA on the replacement sr71 bottom adapters? I believe that my 8 keeps collapsing the spring on the bottom spring. The first adapter I got the bottom adapter stopped working for the same reason. I just got it replaced and after one day it also lost its springiness.
So back to using the herc without the sleeve again.

how is the bottom adapter collapsing the spring?
Are you using the circuit board that came with it?
That should prevent a collapse of the bottom spring.
If that is happening then there is something wrong with your unit.
Honestly I'm not sure how. The bottom pin that makes contact with the 8 no longer springs back out so it doesn't make a good connection anymore. I assumed it was because it was being pressed in too much by the top pin on the 8. I could be wrong though. The second one stopped working after one day. I have been using the provided circuit board since day one.

if it can reliably hold even .3 i think it'll replace my hercules as my daily driver. such a great little package

THC SCIENTIFIC - searching for info on the Triton, I saw that comment - can you let us know why chose grade 2 over the other Ti grades? should be interesting to know...

in case u didn't know, on usps.com if you have the parcel nbr you can instruct the postal carrier to leave the package without signature...

Oh, thanks for the tip, but no need - it's being delivered to an office, which makes me all the curiouser. Perhaps when the maildude gets a day off he leaves the truck at home with the mail that didn't get delivered?
Ok for some reason I was thinking the bottom spring of the 8 was collapsing, the 71 adapters should be done shortly.
Nope ,that one is fine. The sr74 adapter bottom spring is the one I meant. Lol it would've been bad if the other one messed up. But anyways, thanks for the quick reply. Why do you think my other 74 adapters lost there springyness?
@konmo im not sure what could be causing it could be the modification you did to the button assembly, as the weakest link is that spring and that would be the first to go.

I have 4 new button assembly for the 8's that i will be willing to part ways with atm.
The 4 kits are for the people who have issues with the 8 and is documented in the previous pages.
What you need to do is pm me, with the link to your post about the issue with the 8 button you are having and ill guide you how to get the new kits.
First 4 get the kits as i only remember having 4 people here who had small issues with the 8 button while assembling it.

not sure if its fixable. I do have a 5 bottom adapters. pm me if you want to order one.
