What kind of wire was used in this repair. Is the resistance the same ~1.0 Ohm? Does this wire heat along the entire length (even going thru the white grommet)? Thus transferring heat into the top?

I'm assuming it was A1 Kanthal and I don't see why this wouldn't be "fine" in the long run. I am planning on scooping some XC-116 ceramic rope to cut lengths for short wick replacements, or alternately repurpose some 1/8" ceramic wicks I have laying around that I could cut down in thirds to fit in the cup. When you rebuild with Kanthal wherever you put a heavy kink in the wire is where it tends to stop transferring heat, so where the "legs" go down into the cup holes, if you bent them at 90' instead of keeping them straight up and down it would work fine. If you are really paranoid about this you can buy non-resistance wire and solder them together, but that's a huge pain in the ass and is generally reserved for highly specialized RBAs such as the GG Ithaka. Either way you'd know immediately when you do a dry fire to adjust the coils, as you always want them glowing from the "center out".

It is kanthal wire, and like in the e-cig world, it's better to change it regularly.
My brother says he don't measure Ohm ! But the wire only glow around the wick, and when there is oily, it don't glow (normal function)

I've got a few questions about Nibblers. Does the Nibbler Bubbler work with the Persei + Hercules combo? The picture shows it with the Omi cart. I'm debating between the bubbler and the XL. Any thoughts or comparisons between the two? I mainly want to use it with the Hercules so I was leaning towards the XL but if the bubbler works for many situations/carts then that might be interesting. I like things that are multi-purpose. As always, thanks for the knowledge!

Received my replacement glass piece along with orings thrown in for free from @PlanetVape in record time!! Orings a MASSIVE improvement and now all working pretty well!! The problem still exists with the ceramic cup sitting too close to the top and clogging the pipe every few tokes meaning have to ISO bath and wait a while. However the inhale is extremely tasty and smooth!!! I'm sure a workaround will be made in near future or at least hope so as would love to be able to use it more regularly (I find that if don't screw the bottom tightly it will give you a little more space and less clogging but rattles a bit - a very good option workaround imo).
The wide ceramic cup without coil looks very interesting and excited to see how it works if is released!! Overall if problems resolved with clogging issues this would get 11/10 but for now will stick with a solid 7.5 due to effort needed.
Planetvape were excellent as last few times have ordered recently (going a bit vape mad lol) and highly recommended! Big thanks to @THCscientific, @Caligula and @Sleepin in CA for the help!! Really appreciated!!! Got my Hercules coming this week I hope...However these Ti KISS carts are working amazingly for me - the taste being so so clean - specially at 3.7V imo! The 7.4V gives you a proper dome rocking hit that'll send you to Planet Utopia and leave you there!! All that needs to be worked on at 7.4v is bringing the taste through a little more as find stuff can taste similar after a while but then that may just be me! Small detail though but when striving for perfection n all

Yeh, they gave me 2 and have put above and below. I also purchased a thicker black oring 005 for the inner tube which I feel clogs a little less than the orange thinner one for some reason. The orings are a massive improvement but still too close to air vent I think...keeps getting clogged after 4-5 hits. Still love it tho!!

i haven't taken mine out since putting it away after getting frustrated day 1 with it.
my Herc almost never leaves my hand, so i guess I should have gotten the NXL.

Anyone know if 24ga/.5mm wire will fit through the holes on a kiss cart? Have a line on some, but can't afford to throw money around right now if it will not work. Any help would be much appreciated!
