Isn't that what you did with the kiss cart ... repackage old technology but with a ceramic wick?

Just saying that grenco isn't completely worthless and I own both the kiss cart and g coil and I prefer the g coil design ... that's all

Never denied that boss. But what we do is make it even better, first stage was the Ceramic wick, second stage is that Ti Gr2 wire, Third stage is surprise surprise.

G pens are 601 thread ego w are 510.

Ovals elips has no threading ... they pop onto the battery (I have one of these too)

G pen may be made in china but the certainly aren't the pieces that you suggested @THC SCIENTIFIC

My 510 to 601 adapters haven't come in. I am just sooooooooooo anxious. My KISS cart is just staring at me :(.

Actually the very first gpens happen to be Ego-w units, then they repackaged. The gcoil was taken from the ovale elips.

I still stand by my statement that there isnt anything that was brand new ever introduced other then the outside shell when it comes to wire heater designs.

Things I like about the g coil that make it functionally better than the kiss imo:

There is a very large chamber above the coil to load a nice size hunk of shatter/wax. (enough to last a shift at work)

The mouth piece screws on and once it is attached the cart feels very solid and ready for intense pocket use. (again work)

The coil/wick sit directly above the air intake with no air intake lip or oil reservoir. I believe this design may have been overthought in the kiss ... perhaps simple is better here. By having the coil directly above the air inlet and at the very bottom of the chamber they've reduced the prime of the cart (that's what I'm calling all the oil that falls down into the little reservoir cup thingy in the kiss cart and that remains in the bottom of the g coil once it stops delivering hits). The g coil's air inlet still still flows perfectly and has never gotten clogged.

The g coil has been sitting for quite a while and a few grams went through it a while back and it still fires just fine.

Again I'm not a Grenco fan ... I just wanted to elaborate on what I was talking about earlier cause I was at work
and didn't really get to get into the nitty gritty.

Things that I like better about the kiss cart:

The materials used.

They are very cool looking.

@THC SCIENTIFIC what is the coil replacement situation going to look like with the okeanos? Will one have to buy a whole new bottom of the unit to replace the coil or will it use a removable coil head? Replacement heads similar to the ones seego vhit type b and c use would be way cool. Will you ever offer different ohm options?

My guess on this is that it will just be the cartridge piece and then we screw the bubbler on to that.

So I've used the KISS cart for a few weeks now, been through a couple grams and it still works fine. The mouthpiece is pretty much done so I use it without it now, just have to inhale more gently. It's been getting pretty hard to unscrew and add more wax because there is wax in between the screws after extended use so I was just wondering if I could just unscrew it and put the whole thing in ISO to clean it.
Afterwards, I just let it dry and give a few pulls to completely dry then reuse like normal?

Yes, I've given mine a couple ISO baths. Almost looks brand new!!!! My mouthpiece is pretty toast though. There has been a bit of warping at the bottom of the piece that slides in. It's beginning to obstruct the air-path and seems to collect oil more rapidly then the rest of the cartridge. Hey @THC SCIENTIFIC, will you have the new drip tip available on the W9 site for the KISS anytime soon? To be honest I think I'll just order another KISS, unless the Ti version is being released soon :cool:, and pre-order the Okeanos...

do you send a email and tracking number when you send a packet? i ordered some kiss carts last week and the status is still "Awaiting Fulfillment". i hope to get them before christmas... the other thing is the shipping...i know europe is not your "target audience", but 40$ for a few kiss carts? dr. dabber send their units for free for example. the 7thfloor guys send the lsv and the silversurfer for 20$ flat rate, and thats a big packet.
