Actually, the Herc with the black 3.7 volt heating rod will work, but u better carry a couple spare batteries then bcuz it will wear the single ones down quick.
check etsy for some pretty affordable wooden options and some unique metal ones as well.
@ataxian, i just purchased a Bender from the classifieds and have a hammer top on the way from W9 as well. I cant wait, youve definitely made me anxious to try it out myself. I received a pretty good set of directions from the selleer but I may PM you as well if I need help as you seem pretty competent int he use of the almighty BENDER.
I cant wait.
Ive also used the black rod with a small battery at 3.7v and it drains the battery so fast its almost not even worth it. I switched to suing a single larger one ebcause it lasts so much longer. My core is on the way though so that should help the battery situation!

Hey guys/gals. I wanted to follow up a previous post I made about putting rubber feet on Persei buttons in order to make them easier to press. Well it’s been over 2 weeks now and my little rubber foot/bumper still has not come off my Persei button. Here’s what it looks like now:
Still solid. I don’t pick at it or try to loosen it deliberately but I haven’t been babying it either. I just use my Persei normally and even put it in my pants pocket several times. It looks a little scuffed up now but the little foot hasn’t moved. No adhesive has oozed out from underneath the button either.
I cleaned the Persei button surface with iso (upside down so the iso didn’t leak into the Persei top) and dried it with a clean cloth before I applied the little foot.
So if you want to make pressing the Persei button a little easier this may work for you. Undoubtedly, the button will be easier to press accidentally with the foot attached but this has not been a problem for me although my pants pockets are pretty loose (relaxed fit rules!). My favorite bonus feature is that the foot stops the Persei from rolling off my desk which, pre-foot, happened twice in the past couple of months. (It dropped onto a carpeted floor, no damage so far.)

Some people don't like the BENDER however it will kick your A@@!

If the power light is blinking 3 times then it's still operational. What that means though is that you assembled the unit incorrectly (im assuming it actually worked properly at some point?).
What you need to do is test your cart with a digital multimeter. That will tell you if and when your unit is put together properly.
If you don't have one then get one. Noting fancy though... I use this one:

I suggest you call W9 and have them walk you through reassembly today as well, especially if you don't have a DMM yet.
Something like this would be great G, could use this KISS type cart on the double top.

Is there a specific size?
I've only seen one size, but have seen felt ones in different sizes but I don't know if I would like those, personal preference. They are also called surface savers as in audio/video equipment.

I have bought a kit for making & purging my own BHO.
In this kit there is also a blend of propylene glycol & polyethylene glycol for making my own e-juice with BHO. There is also a special e-cig for vaping this e-juice, but you have to put one drop of e-juice at a time....
(Reason is that you can clean the coil between hits/drops, by heating the coil 5 sec).
The taste is great despite the fact that cartomizer is plastic.
Now i make a mix with [ 50% BHO / 50 % Glycols ], and i was looking for best Persei attachment, with a capacity superior to one drop......
Standard cartridge : doc says "Only used with thick non glycerin-based liquids" , so not possible i think...
CE4 : i really don't like the taste of wick clearomizers, so not an option for me.
So, can someone give me an advice if it's possible to vape this kind of e-juice with the SR-71?
And maybe if i put 10 drops on a KISS cart, is it a good idea ?

Its possible, you just need to use the full size coils and cant over saturate the coils. What i would do is take the coils and submerge them in the ejuice for lets say 10 seconds then take them off and make sure no more drops as the coils will hold some ejuice inside. Then insert it in the hercules and go easy on the button. Ejuice vapes at a lower temperature then essential oils.

we have, but it gets bigger and bigger. Not sure what we can do but wait for 2014 its a different year.

black is better, ill even say blue might be best. As you dont need the 600-800F capable rod.

Meh. I took that piece out to see if I could get better airflow. It didn't seem to matter.
On that note, I thought there was a filter in the MP... but i now think it's just ducting to avoid a direct air path to your mouth in case you suck up liquified wax.

Dudes, these little kiss carts are pretty slick! I love the bowl size, as I hate the small bowl on my atmos pen. This has a definite spot in my kit. My new favorite, next to the Hercules of course!
