yea, material is the same for both carts, but you can really scream thru those seals with too much heat. main reason for taste issues (other than overheating during filling), imo

That's the most important part, ignore it and I'll about guaranty you grief.
After that use only freely melting concentrate ("Supermelt" or better, avoid full melts, taffies and so on along with bubble and pressed hashes). If it doesn't easily melt on and evaporate from, foil with a lighter you don't want it.
Pay attention to the instructions in loading. Heating the center of the cart (not the bottom where the seals are nor the top before the center is hot) well first to avoid air bubbles. Load no more than half a gram at a time. Weigh your carts empty, refill when it gets to .2 grams above empty.
Those are the typical 3 rookie problems, avoid them if you and and you'll do fine. 2.4 Ohm carts (only), good concentrate, load correctly.

Brittle, Honeycomb both work fine and the flavor is all time in a 2.4 cart. Stay with the Blonds!
Now after you get wired the information that "OF" gave you then I would say the Upgraded HERCULES would be a good addition. It will KICK your #&^*%!

well ive been surfing through this thread for a while now (probably 2/3 weeks) trying to convince myself to drop the $200 on a persei. I live in NY so its not "easy" for me to get oils but ican so i finally pulled the trigger and purchased one. It should be here monday ! Also went ahead and ordered the 2.4 ohm cartridge from planetvape(chose there instead of delta9 since it was 15$ cheaper). Was also going to get the hercules herb cart but i figured i'd just wait for the new oil/herb cart to be released.
Now ive never used concentrates before. No dabs , no hash , no oils .. nothing except blunts, bongs, and the occasional iolite which i really didnt like at all. Anyone want to tell me what to expect !?

Follow "OF" advice on loading.
Cost in use is amazing once you get a handle on some wax.
I like Flowers however I love concentrates.
Learn your battery configurations as well.
So easy at first.
I had to back off a bit as I was getting ripped instead of simply medicated.
The HERCULES will F%c* you up!
I heard that HASH will work in the HERCULES so when the HERCULES is finally released there is going to be some messed up people!

great i have some OG kush bho oil on its way also so i have a steady supply of oils its just not as easy as going to a store like some of you living in medical states.
as for battery config im pretty sure ive got that down pack the easy way. the 1 big battery = 3.7v while the 2 smalls together = 7.4
any idea on how many rips it takes to get "ripped" lol as someone thats never used concentrates before im dying to know. like 10 at 3.7v on the 2.4? or 10 at 7.4 on the 5ohm?

3 - 5 rips once you get it dialed in.
I had one cart go just over 400 hits before it died.
My average is 300 rips per cart.
Others may have different values depending in how strong of rips one takes.
Anyway you will love it.

I just went through some GIRL SCOUT COOKIES WAX and FLOWERS.
Only one stem left then dip into the CACTUS COOLER HYBRID.
I have 4 carts charged so I'm in good condition.
Plus I have some stock for the HERCULES.
The OG KUSH OIL BHO wil work well as long as it's clean and well purged.
2.4 carts is a good way to succeed right from the start!!

300 hits a cart sounds good , around how many uses can I get out of a cart before it needs replacement ?
and is that 300 off a full (1g) cart ? or the recommended .5 a few posts up by OF. I have a gram on the way so I'm trying to get an idea of how long it's going to last

Some of the member know much more than I.
I'm a newbie who just stumbled on to the PERSEI because I did not know any better.
2 1/2 - 3 grams per cart = over a hundred hits per gram of medicine.
0.5 grams first load.
As I approach 40 hits I weight the cart and add about .18 - .20 increments at a time.
Find what works best in your case.

I agree pretty much with what's said. A whole lot depends on your tolerance of course, lucky for you Persei is an excellent way to run that through the roof (be careful).
A while back I logged my 'specific consumption' over several weeks. It came out about 45 mg a day. A gram lasted close to 3 weeks. These days, with all this testing going on, it's probably twice that or maybe even more.
Hit dosage varies a lot. I measure my heavy ones at about 5 mg each (200 to the gram), routine ones are closer to half that. Small change really to some.
I load half a gram to start (weighing the empty first), then add the other half when it gets down to .2 left and haven't had leaks following this, but Ataxian's plan is probably more sure there. Having a lot loaded seems to lead to leaks if you get it all real hot and shut down, my guess is it takes too long to cool off?

id say my tolerance has gone down alot i went from daily smoking of 2+ grams for about a year down to now smoking at max once a week for the past couple months. looking for that daily smoke again but a healthier way which is why i got this.
just ordered 2 doob tubes also, are they 100% smell proof? like i can take my cart after use and stick it in there and have no smell(for work stealth)?Im just guessing but the actual persei doesnt smell right .. just the carts? also if my oil is on wax paper can i just roll up the wax paper and stick it in the tube? im trying to find the best way to store it with no smell and have it last.
anything else you guys recommend i order ?

I have a lot of FLOWERS however I have to be stealth like you.
With the PERSEI I can medicate low key.
If you can afford it I really like the SHORTY that comes in the SS kit.
Very nice size wise with plenty of power for those walks with the dog.
This is my PARK setup with PG. I have a 2.4 cart loaded up as well.
DELTA NINE has the 2.4V cartimizers that come with the adapters.
I like your Ideal of the DOOB TUBES to put the carts in.
See which battery you like best.
I like the 3.0V for PG and the AW18350 IMR 3.7V for waxes. (I use the two on the right)
There will be those that see it differently however this is my way of medicating effectively!

i saw that but didnt understand the concept fully.
How much smaller does it make the vape and do you loose much noticeable power? stealth with hits isnt a problem i can just walk around my parking lot. its the smell when im done and have to come back inside that im worried about.. do you own any of those doob tubes ?
do you guys recommend the derlin mouthpiece or will i be satisfied w. the one the kit comes with

Becarefull about power! Sometimes you need it some times you don't! That's what makes the PERSEI so versatile.
Don't think TEA SPOON TECHNOLOGY (If one is good two is better) wrong thinking!
I use these travel tube for my Flower Vape.
I'm going to get some DOOB TUBES for my carts. (Nice Tip!)

Yes, exactly so. Two excellent seals in the cap protect you, both would have to fail and even then any leak would be tiny. Smell control is their main selling feature. Great product.
FWIW I roll up a small square of cloth and poke it into the bottom to stop rattles and catch any accidental leaks. Only a useful trick for loaded carts of course.

Very fast, I've used them several times. They seem to know the secret for getting stuff across the border in a hurry with no fuss. I've actually had a shipment from them beat one from D9 (400 miles south in the same state.....).
