Finally got my Hercules after going to both Post Offices in town and waiting in line for an hour. Mail person never left a slip so I didn't know which post office to go to. Yo G, you should really add an option to pick shipping method. Having to sign is a huge pain in the ass.
- Feels sturdy and not having any issues with mouthpiece being loose or exposed wires like some people.
- Came with 3 carts
- First round was a semi success
- Loaded .25 grams of Super Lemon Haze wax and heated with a lighter while in cart to melt into cart.
- Pressed button for 20 seconds (no inhaling yet), heard a sizzle and started to rip it.
- Clouds were present, not Hercules sized yet. Need to keep practicing. Will post later with updated results.
- Taste is better on first rip than any other carts I have used. The taste is amazing.

either colibri or vector x5 or higher. depends on what other purchases i'm making.

Colibri was voluntarily tested and the ppm for them was very very very low. Vector, last that was known, didnt volunteer for the testing. Doesnt mean its bad. Colibri was the only one used for here
A few more tips i've gathered from, perhaps excessive, testing 
I've been using a glass tube with my hercules, exact same setup as the original omicron delrin tip and all. With a little work the soft cartidge tips will work over the hercules top. Just like when i started with an omicron this has been usefull in judging what methods work best for getting the Hercules sized rips.
Previous posters have mentioned using a big suck at the end to get the large hits. My theory so far is that once the heater has been on sufficiently long the outer wall of the tank and the inner wall of the hercules chamber are hot enough to vaporize any oil that touches it. Giving the big suck pulls liquified oil from arround the bottom of the tank and top of the heater up arround the outside of the tank and vaporizes it, giving the hercules hit. I've only been able to get these hercules sized hits once it gets nice and oiled up inside.
Additionally, usually my first hit isnt as large as the second. Taking the second rip after its already warmed up is always bigger.

agreed. the hits from the oil coming down are even in density and temp, but the hits pulled from the oil on the bottom are when they get herculean

Well, it appears that Delta9 would like me to ship my defective Hercules to them in order for them to replace it. My question is, wouldn't this be ridiculously unsafe to do? My Herc is used and stuck together with oil in parts. Will an iso soak really get rid of all the residue? I mean, there's .2 stuck under in the base of the ceramic heater alone. Anybody else want to weigh in on this one?

Harder and more dangerous drugs get shipped through the post all the time, if you want to protect yourself completely just put Delta9's address in the return address too.
All we need is the heater part, boil it for 10 minutes, iso wipe it and it should be clean just send back the defective part in the assembly.

iso will absorb all of your residue given enough time, temp, and agitation. however, i would definitely do a water boil afterward and dry hit the hell out of it. ship in airtight container as well as maybe steer clear of usps and ship overnight if you really wanna cover ur ass a bit more. my two cents.
as to the "Volcano Sponge System" or VSS for the herc as a jerry-rig til the new ones come out. full success. bigger hits, closer to the herculean size described earlier. seems to be trapping the oil around the ceramic rod really well and getting big hits on the way down. why is it that ever time i change up my system, whether it's using one oil rig to another, or one cart type to another. i always get that little extra kick. sparkly, lol

this is the ideal material for sure and they are only like $10, iirc, and if it's worth it to you. i honestly can't think of anything else that would do the job for the price. maybe chunks of a busted up health stone or the ceramic from an old unused vaporgenie? maybe get Vitolo and OF on the case as well.Hey Bob, can you think of anything that I could use as a fix for my second Herc. anyway, yea as to the liquid pads, across the board recognized as medical grade alloy. OF reports that it's actually a very tiny tube which is partly why it conducts heat so well
