It heated up the cartridge. Guess I need new batteries! Thanks
Yes please get AW imrs they are the best hands down. They will power the hammer correctly.

Just got my persei in and loaded the cart with quality wax from the dab cab here is sd, but after priming with 3.7 untill slight vapor and switching to 7.2 the cART died without giving anything other than a slight puff of vapor. I repeated the following steps with the rec wAX and it works great. Blown away by the quality and function of this product. Everyone I just want to know if there is an error or technique to prevent this in the future cuz I cant be goin through these things too fast with only one left.
I literally just registered so I could say that I got my Persei about...oh three weeks ago and I am seriously impressed. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any work done and why my grams of oil were getting blasted so quickly, until I realized the amount of medicine I was delivering myself was off the charts. I was thinking it couldn't possibly be delivering that much medicine, it was. Glad I went with this product, not disappointed, not one bit.
got my purple tubes today... I put the hammer on the silver body, and the single top on my long purple tube, and can use the double on the mini, but will need to purchase a separate end cap. It would be cool to one day have a purple Persei top, since I'm not really into double carts, I consider the double top to be a spare/back up top. All my parts threaded together smoothly. The purple tube+single top stands about 3/4" shorter than the hammer on the Persei body. Very pleased.

Glad its working for you, let me know if you have any issues this community is here to answer all questions, youll find that we are a friendly bunch, just be aware of OF hes grumpy.
Howdy. Welcome to the fun, neat machines, aren't they?
Sorry you're having troubles with five Ohms (?) at 7.2 Volts, but IMO it's kind of to be expected from new guys that start there rather than 2.4 Ohms at 3.7 Volts. Not that you can't get in trouble with the 'standard configuration', but it's not as easy to do. You're working at twice the power levels, things happen much faster. Guys that haven't yet learned the fine points of controlling the heat (an absolute necessity at this level IMO) are going to have issues, you're not alone.
What's happened to you is you ran it just a tiny bit too long without sufficient concentrate to cool the heater off. It burnt out on you. You (understandably) went with vapor production as your clue, not experience. What's at play here is the dual heater nature of the cart. The first heater is in the bottom of the load, near the feed wicks. It heats and liquifies a bit of concentrate so the wicks can suck it up and feed it to the vaporizing heater inside the furnace. When you push it too hard cold there's no liquid available (yet) to replace what's in the wicks under the heater once that little bit flashes off the heater is dry and getting into trouble. Once the whole thing is warmed up well, all is forgiven and it feeds fairly well, but it's still a hot rod and hard to control until you learn the system, and even after that. Get a little carried away and you can goof it up still.
Couple this with the common new owner loading issues (gaps in the load due to poor heat control in loading) and you're doubly at risk. Such holidays at the 'standard configuration' cut you some slack, but can be quickly fatal here (as you've discovered). By the time most guys realize they have feed problems it's too late.
My advice is to switch over to 2.4 Ohms at 3.7 Volts and enjoy that lovely wax (a little harder to learn on than thinner oils anyway) as you gain skills. A gram or two down the road, you'll understand the system better and will probably be able to get what you want out of it. For now, the way you're doing it, calls for skills and understanding you just don't have under your belt......yet.
Keep after it, as you know from your partial success, it's well worth it.
Come on, G, is that really fair? I mean warning off the new guys before I get a real chance?
I wouldn't do that to you. Unless there was a laugh in it, of course.
Nice to be noticed, I guess?

I needed you to say something my friend have not seen you around lately.
Oh quick question did skateboardman give you the bottle of the jungle juice?
. thanks for the advice OF. I dont know if I will end up getting the low ohm carts only because I know I want more 5.0s amd camt drop a hundo at the moment.

Hi Guys sorry for this request but I stumbled across a youtube video for the persei universe herb vaporizer. Could I get some more info on how it might compare to the inhalater in004?
This persei gizmo looks awesome but website DELTA9 was too much for me to take in and I need prices and availability.
I have just been selling lots of guitars and musical equipment as I realise I do not need as much (23 guitars etc) and now I have developed serious vape GAS
Sounds like a good deal. Thanks g.
