I'm still struggling a bit to get the seals correct on the top for my Nibbler XL, but it definitely aids in showing visually what's going on with the production, just like the OG Nibbler was for the essential oil cartridges. (How long should I trust oil in those for, anyway? I have a few that likely have some flavor left, but sitting in a tin box for a... long while.)
The one hole perc in the XL did bug me for a bit until I realize I need to get all droopy and laid back a bit... give a bit of the ol' swag lean back with the logo thrust forward (oh, yyeah) and it turned into a churning cauldron of lovely hate. I'd say it was tipped down about 31 degrees from vertical when we hit our groove... Much different style from the original OG Nibbler, but I'm liking it more this way
I went the hardcore learning route with the Hercules - stupid ass batteries mostly just giving me whisps and promises until I hooked it up to The Core, then holy smokes! I had the black rod for a while, but it seems almost pointless with my 18650's (older AW and a couple red E-Fests). Recently got the Alpha Centauri kit and was reintroduced to what the 8 can put out on battery, but the 1701 seems to be only whimpering unless I involve a power cord.
Opinions on how a new battery would compare performance-wise to The Core set on 3.7v for the Hercules? For the AC 1701? (Love The Core, but don't want to pack it around with me everywhere)
