Me too, the mythical v1 iris. It'd be cool to have an insert like the core ones that would let you plug it into the wall or a car adapter.

no, that's what the metal/teflon housing is for -- stealthish mode (you're still hitting a pen, lol)
Gary said earlier that they could be rebuilt w/ the Ti kit, but that it would be a downgrade. The wire on the new atomizers looks a little beefier to me, so the gauge of wire may be part of it.
The AC coils are not rebuildable, and the rebuild kits are for the standard kiss cartridge.
I will let you know what can and what it wont handle.

This time it's the AC, and some batteries.
I wanted to get some spare AC coils for my okeanos also, are those in stock and will they ship w the AC of ordered today??! Both donuts also?
If they aren't in stock, does the whole order get stalled until they are?

7.4v donuts aren't due in for about 3 weeks, if I recall correctly, and your order will not ship until all items are in. If you just ordered Alpha Centauri and replacement heaters EXCEPT the 7.4 donut, you should be able to get everything shipped immediately. That was the standard answer to this question the last few times it was asked, anyway. Perhaps the 7.4v donut is slated for delivery sooner, now.

Yes. We can't pay for shipping both times.
Then I want to cancel out my kiss AC. I didnt intend a 3 week wait when placing my order. And a 1701 shouldn't cost more then $2.00 to ship alone.I don't miss this at all

Also just to be clear the 1701 is stated to be released June 12th. Yet you ordered anyway.
Some how I fail to see how we should be blamed for this, I just don't see the logic. I can and will refund your order but at the same time I would ask for you to read before you order.
And it could cost $2.00 for shipping yes but we use USPS priority mail with tracking or UPS.

The 1701 by itself says June 12th. Not the kiss AC the actual item I ordered.. So you could say I did read before ordering. Did I know a item listed separately on your website would delay my order. The situation would be different.
I'm not pointing fingers, I'm expressing the annoyance of this order. I didn't expect 3 week wait after spending a decent chunk of change.

Then you placed your order and making me think you ordered a 1701 7.4v coil.
Then I look at your order.
Guess what?
There is no 1701 7.4v coil ordered.
I hope you understand what you just ordered, because im trying to figure out if you know the following.
1. That the Kiss Alpha Centauri isnt the 1701 7.4v coil.
2. The Kiss Alpha Centauri comes with a 1701 3.7v coil along with 2 other Ti gr2 coils.
3. The Kiss Alpha Centauri 1701 7.4v coil is going to be released on June 13th.
4. You did not order any 1701 Ceramic 7.4v coils.

The kiss AC to my knowledge comes with a 1701 which I thought was VV but I guess not right?
The kiss AC comes with a 3.7v 1701 but if you want 7.4v 1701 you must order separate?
This is where I got confused. If my order isn't delayed 3 weeks im happy.

So what is everyone preferring. Double or single cool AC? I loved the other double coil. I'm assuming these will be better too.
The Kiss Alpha comes with a 3.7v 1701 ceramic plus the single and dual coil Ti Gr2.
The 1701 3.7v version that comes with the Kiss alpha can work with certain VV devices yes. Its rebuildable and we have the spare ceramic discs coming in 2 weeks with the 7.4v 1701's.
You order should ship out tomorrow.
The Kiss AC comes with
1 x Single Coil Ti Gr2 wire works with 3.7v and 7.4v. 7.4v you have to pulse really fast as it takes half a second to heat up. Works best at 3.7v if you want to have it last long time.
1 x Dual Coil Ti Gr2, works with 3.7v but 7.4v its a ripper once again requires AW imr batteries and pulsing at 7.4v.

you sure it wont fire or it wont glow?
Can you try that coil screwed in to the head of the unit?
Yes screw the coil directly into top of the unit.

I checked all 3 of my alphas. I only tried the single and doubles. Once I felt heat, I let go. I barely saw a glow on the rest. The last one would not heat or glow. I held it for the 10 sec timeout with no heat
Edit: still won't heat directly screwed in.
Edit 2: first impressions it seems quite nice. Heat up time is a little slower than the original globes, but once it goes vapor pours out. Taste is much better, but we will see after a 3 day disc golf tournament.

I am loving the new alpha i dont know if i was just one of the lucky ones but mine was pretty clean of metal shavings and i have no threading issues. My only question is does anyone else feel like the single coil eats oil. I havent tried all three yet because i was low on oils but what i have put in seems to run through quick, other then that i am a happy guy
