G answered this for me a while back, and said "if you want to use the fuse, just cram it all in there, you can't adjust it to be flush w/ fuse installed." I, too, try to adjust it so that screwing in the bottom gets the floating spring can be the furthest out position physically possible.
Yea I ended up backing out the adjustable spring as much as possible then screwed in the bottom cap so that it touched the adjustable spring and raised it till the cap was secure and adjustment as low as physically possible

no, that means there is a short somewhere or you got hot fingers.
Does your 8 have the small plastic disc under the button cover over the gold piece?
yes it has the teflon spacer
Edit: if you were serious about hot fingers i do tend to run pretty hot and transfer alot of heat normally to anything i hold onto

yes ive been using the fuse
ok take button cover off, take small white plastic disc out, unscrew the gold piece maybe 1/4 turn, then re assemble dont forget the plastic spacer.
also when using take bottom cap off, and give it the reach around to the bottom spring to see if it warms up as well.
If not then after a good run, take battery and fuse out see if they are hot.
i got the button assembly out but i cant get the teflon spacer to come out
take a screw driver just poke it and move it around a bit should dis lodge it and just tap the top in your hand so as the spacer comes out in your palm.
just took a few monster hits off my sr71 and the 1/4 turn backwards seems to have solved the issue

Yes just drop it in. Let the coil absorb the oil. When new, the coil must saturate first. The kiss mini can be restricted. This cart is for flavor and stealth. It's a slow heating coil for superior taste. Ridding the button for best results. IMO the kiss works best with 18650/18350AW battery set up. Or freshly charged omicron AW14500.
On a side note, @THC SCIENTIFIC when can we get our hands on a Black 8? Badass finish there. I just like collecting premium W9 stuff and want that black 8! Lol
