True, but the v3's are being phased out and the only thing left on the site are the color units. If someone wants a normal black or silver unit, they can't get the new ones, but they can't get the old ones either. Through w9, anyway.

The 8 is substantially more solid feeling, is rebuildable, and can do both 510 thread and 601. It comes with an ss kit for low-pro (ish... It's still vape shaped, lol), has no light to tell you if its functioning, but has a fuse to keep you safe from shorts. It's mad fancy, yo. Perseii are supa shaweet too, but if you're like me and only want a black or chrome one, you won't be able to take advantage of the sale right now

the 8 is something that needs some TLC at first once it gets going it is the only vaporizer that will last a long time if you look after it.

Very tasty and clouds are moderate. I threaded one on a mini vaporizer last night. Wow, got a few big clouds then hit the hay. Added a FC-2000 porous wick too. Jury's still out on this one but so far, so good.

Well, I cleaned my V2 KISS cart for the first time by soaking it in 91% ISO. Pulled it out to discover the ISO has made the black coating on the exterior of the cart bubble up and it's flaking off. How are we supposed to clean these V2 KISS carts? I thought we could soak them in ISO just like the V1 carts?

You can use it as a heat source above herbs or dip it into oil placed in a thing, you can do a lot with it...

I also use 91%, but for very short periods, like a 10m soak. I use a plastic baggy and shake the ever loving shit out of it at the end of the soak to clean. I find 91% ISO abuses everything, so I can't stress enough -- don't leave it soaking long. Everclear was leaps and bounds better for cleaning all my vape stuff. I would soak overnight with no ill effects. I'm also told starter fluid is all ether and works well, but that's second hand info, so check the webs before diving into that method head first.

What sort of oil thing do you mean? I would also love to utilize my hammer, but w/o a bender dunno what to do w/ it.

A nail or banger or bucket or something. Doesn't have to be specific. A friend had a neat oil pipe, the Hammer was actually the best way to use that one (it was designed to be used with a glass rod that you would torch to heat up the concentrate placed inside its bowl)

Some people on this forum aren't familiar with these things, but they are devices that generate heat:

The Hammer Rod will generate heat, too, but it doesn't force you to combust in order to utilize that heat.

Try substituting the Hammer Rod for that thing, see how it goes.

I used to use a glass rod for combusting, but it had no warts, so one day it decided against the plan to warm up over the stove burner, and adventured out onto the floor. Worked almost as well on linoleum as it did on plant matter, but also became modular...

Anyway, I have not had as good of success with a glass rod on concentrate as I used to on flowers. Ill go shopping for some cheap glass and see if I can't think something up. Maybe there's some pipette that will fit over the hammer rod, and I can make a cheap honey straw for little hits.

Find a glass heater with the biggest bulb at the end for concentrates. More surface area means more vape, but either way, they cool down fast when dumping concentrate on them.

Edit: @Big Baby Jesus :: I shorted the V1 like a dumbass... metal wire trying to load up my kiss mini, obviously shorting it in my hand each time i pumped the button. Idk what kind of stupid i was on, i blew a battery on the first short, thought it was defective battery. Switched batts, did the same stupid shit, this time the top got super hot and smelly, blew the second battery, proceeded to realize my stupidity and locked myself in my room in shame.

Place your oil into whatever, turn on the hammer rod and let it warm up. Inhale and dab the hammer rod into, pull it through, and lift out of the oil. Repeat this process continually and quickly with a water piece!

I'd stay away from the concentrate cartridge. Kiss cart will last longer, produce bigger clouds and taste much much much better.

This is precisely what happened with me. Got the chrome top and it came with the rod.

I actually like the mismatched look of the chrome on top of the black Core insert, but to each his own...

Cool thanks everyone for the info I'm going to place the order today hope it come with a rod . I was about to get a kiss mini too but then I was thinking just getting the vaporizer since it comes with a mini.
Is the battery that come with the vaporizer strong enough or would I be better off getting somthing with a little bigger battery? Looking for pure stealth when out and about? Thanks

I'm going to pick up another one and carry one in each pocket! One black, one stainless steel. Oh and another one for the Nibbler GN... It's my favorite thing to use with the Globe and GN because it is so light!

This is the best UP tech product yet for those who want to go for a hike or throw something in a Camelback to go biking or slip into your snowboard jacket pocket. It holds a good amount of concentrate, over 2x as much as I'd put into a KISS cart; the battery lasts long enough to get through the full load if you choose, and its incredibly easy to use, and you dont worry about breaking it becuase it's so inexpensive to replace if you crash on your longboard with one. Its less painful then the road rash (personally proven)

I'm now using the Vaporizer, Persei shorty with KISS mini, Persei full length with Herc and Nibbler XL, and 8 with Okeanos as my go to devices. I've cut out everything in the middle.
