Okeanos = KISS on steroids, lol.
My favorite w9 product thus far. Can't wait till the triton...
Okeanos = KISS on steroids, lol.
My last order of 4 replacement globes were all the one piece design, not sure on the complete units. I remember @THC SCIENTIFIC saying that the TI coils are an option only sold separately.I am on the w9 website to buy the mini vaporizer, some kiss minis, and another globe. My question is regarding the globe on sale for $11.99. Is this the one with the tigr2 and dark ceramic. When I purchased the globe in the past, I thought it said tigr2 in the description (I know I can buy them separate), but this doesn't say it on the description and I don't see any other globe options. So if I purchase the globe for $11.99, will it be the one piece all glass globe, without the black mouthpiece? Will it come with the tigr2? Appreciate any feedback.
I have broken at least 5. Clumsy I guess. If the Persei is in my lap in the car (or in a chair)and I hit the brakes, or forget it is there and get up.Why do you need 4 replacement globes? lol
Are you talking about the 6.99 replacement globe (picture looks like old globe, but now it's one piece)? Called kiss globe glass. My last order of 4 replacement globes were all the one piece design, not sure on the complete units. I have only broken the old style with the separate MP.Are you talking about the 6.99 replacement globe (picture looks like old globe, but now it's one piece)? Called kiss globe glass.
I broke one too pressing too hard on it. I was asking if the 6.99 glass globe replacement are the ones you purchased. ThanksI have only broken the old style with the separate MP.
i recently got a globe (it kicks ass). came with two 3.7 nichrome carts with the black ceramic, and the globe that came with it was the old one with the separate mouthpiece. i broke it immediately. ordered a replacement globe, and it is the new one with the integrated glass mouthpiece.I am on the w9 website to buy the mini vaporizer, some kiss minis, and another globe. My Okeanos has quit firing.
Here's what I've tried. The threads on the bottom plate are clean. I've tried different KISS carts that fire fine on a Persei on their own. The center spring on the base seems to be springy and pops back out when you push on it.
Any other suggestions for what I might be missing? Thanks.
If it says Hercules 3.7v , it is the old version. Older than the SR71. The 3.7v is for dry herbs I believe.Hey guys I made a trip into one of my local head shops and it happened that they had one more Persei in stock that they were using as the display in ther persei bubbler. It seems like they are trying to just get did of it so they offered it to me for 70$, I looked all over the unit and could find what version the top was. They also had one more Herc in stock and it just read Hercules 3.7 so I don't know if it's the 71 or 74. If I could get someone to reply and help me out that would be really appreciated
Does it say Persei in large letters down the side? If so V1. If it will shut off with 5 clicks of the button it is v3. If the button is touch sensitive it is v4(doubtful) What's the Serial #? If no s/n, may be fake.So would you say then that the persei is probably an older model version?
My stereo controller got dropped soo many times like that haha!I have broken at least 5. Clumsy I guess. If the Persei is in my lap in the car (or in a chair)and I hit the brakes, or forget it is there and get up.
You can try to put it in the ohm reader to see if its the cart the problem or something else.My Okeanos has quit firing.

My Sr-71 says Hercules 3.7. I ordered it about 2 months ago from w9. Clearance item. FYI. Check what comes with it.
Forgive me if this is really common knowledge, but how would you say the SR71 compares to the SR74? I'm seriously looking into the Hercules and besides different coils(which I also wonder what the pros/cons of each coil are) I cannot tell of many design differences or performance differences?
Could ya help a brotha out, oh wise one?
I had originally upgraded my SR.-71 with the "SR.-74 essentials Kit". This consisted of a 74 ceramic Rod (slightly less "hot" than the 71 rod). It also came with the center post that the holds the bottom of the rod. This post/contact is spring loaded as opposed to the "clamp fit" that the 71 has. I prefer the 71 style. The spring in the 74 post failed, causing intermittent problems. The 74 also had a threaded top to the oil chamber which I never had, but I have read that the threads get gunked up. The only con that I can think of for the Ti coil(74 coil) is that they fit a bit loosely. This can be remedied by distorting the shape of the coil with pliers so that it fits tightly. The SS coils (71 coils).worked well but typically had to be cut to custom lengths. I prefer the Ti(74) coils in my 71. Hope my ramblings help.Forgive me if this is really common knowledge, but how would you say the SR71 compares to the SR74? It is noticeably hotter. Short pulses on the button are key.I knew I asked the right guy! Thanks, you really helped me understand the differences of the two units.
This "learning curve" everyone speaks of with the SR71, does that have to do with the rod getting slightly hotter on the 71? Is the SR71 really that different to operate than the SR74?
