Nitecore D2 was recommended to me here and that's what I got. Definitely worth the $20.

The hammer tops wont get the upgrade feature, the v3 tops only if they go out.

currently the v4 tops are only available in the repair devision, and they cost $10 to do so. If you have a faulty top thats when you need to contact us.

So I should open a ticket to go about getting my top?
only if its faulty, if it comes in and its working fine and we see it was tampered with just to get the upgrade then we will need you to pay the accidental damage fee.
So yes if its faulty go ahead and open the ticket or just go to the shipping and returns paid and follow the directions on there and just ship it in.
Make sure you ship it to the address listed on the site as we have moved.

It's not faulty. Will my current top work fine with the sr74x i just ordered? can I just order a v4 top? I just want to have circuit protection since I'm moving from kiss carts and globes to the sr74x.
Your current top will work with the Hercules when or if it goes out thats when we can get you repaired with the new v4 tops.
Sorry but at this point we cant sell tops as they are limited.

I tried using an 18650 battery for my 3.7v vaping and it solves every connection problems I had with my v3 top. Im a happy camper now.
I retried my herc71 one evening. The taste is so awesome! Im lost about how much I use/is left in the coil though.. I bit the bullet and dropped a 0.4g (2nd qwet wash) and pulse melted it to cover the coil. Added another 0.2g. Vaped many clouds, but I didnt have the guts to go for big clouds and risk to fill the reclaim chamber.. I will try to vape it all and see what 0.6g of concentrate gives total. Im under the impression I have more control with a kiss cart and will reclaim and store my herc when done. Not sure. But I didnt reach out for my herc yesterday. Just a mix of solo and kiss cart vaping

The new hammer rods are (or at least were) the heating element for the Flexo. It's encased in quartz in order to heat the quartz nail.

I have a question about bubblers. I should have bought the okeanos but did not like the idea of water splashing. I see there is an upgrade that prevents that. I have the persei and omicron lite. I purchased a perculator from dr. Dabber that fits all 510 threads. Will that work with the kiss cart, essential oil carts, or hercules? Thanks
So I just started having a new problem with my v3 persei. I have always had to deal with the blinking lights and that isnt really an issue for everything the persei does. I just started having a new problem last night where when i hold the button down it fires no problems and then stops, after it stops i have to hit the button 5 times to turn it back on. This has happened on the herc and kiss carts. I dont know if i need to file a ticket or if this is something i can fix on my own.

does anyone know where i can pick up some 601 connecters? not 601-510 adapters, just a plain ole' 601 connecter. i might resort to disassembling one of my fried tops but i'd prefer to warranty exchange those guys.
i need the connector for a DIY project. actually i'd almost prefer a hybrid style adapter washer with 601 threading in it.

i should mention that i want a direct connector not the adapter because....well i have the adapter and i am now fairly certain that it is responsible for frying both of my tops. it appears to be made out of some crap metal and had built up a small amount of corrosion in the inner threads despite daily cleaning. i must have missed a little bit. at any rate i'm pretty hesitant to use that POS.

Would it be a bad idea to use the Sr74x with an older top and non AW batteries? ( the older batteries that came with the persei)

i don't know about the older top, but i'd say as long as the batteries you use can handle at least 10 amps and are of IMR chemistry type you should be good to go.

@THC SCIENTIFIC I'm sure you have already considered it, but any plans for a 601 threaded rebuildable ejuice atomizer for the 8?
The batteries that come with the persei will get the herc warm but you won't get vapor I tried when I first got mine and I held button about 15 seconds and it barely got warm switched to the aw's and it made vapor right away before the herc even felt warm

The included batteries that work with eo carts and kiss carts can get the Herc warm enough to melt oil into the lower chamber and make a mess, but will not get vapor into your lungs.

Yea, but an official rebuildable atomizer from the same company that makes the mod would be preferable IMO & I only say 601 because that is their preferred threading.

It is unbelievable. I finally learned how to master the omicron lite in the past week and it is absolutely amazing. My Persei arrived 2 days ago, the Core came yesterday. I can't even imagine how good it is going to be when I get the hercules. I can't imagine how much better the taste will be with a Persei.
