Anyone know of a good container for the Hercules? I was looking at mVessel but figured why not ask for any recommendations.

I need to replace the cart in my okeanos. Which kiss carts go in there? I thought it was the new ti ones but it specifically says at the bottom of the page that the okeanos requires a special kiss cart.

I just bought the 3.7v and 7.4v Ti KISS carts and they both work fine in my Okeanos.

Im pissed right now. Its been 14 days since I sent my ticket about my missfires with my 3.7v carts without any answers.. You are not alone @invisiblefriend ! Yes, I put it at medium priority because I can fire my persei somehow, but 14 days without answer!? I know w9tech is moving, but thats because I read fc. A nice quick message explaining that would have been nice.

All was well when I used exclusively my batteries. Barely no missfires. Twice my 3.7v blink 3 times cant connect problems resurged when I decided to give my core a go.

I started to use my v3 persei with the core with 3.7v blink 3 times cant connect problems. I switched to batteries, had a bit of problems at 1st, but it "stabilized" quickly to close to flawless. I break out my core and 1701 donut, I need to press button then screw carts for every button press.. Go back to close to flawless while using exclusively batteries.

Today I break out the core again. Im a concentrate newb. I want to regulate my clouds. I want to experiment with controlled voltage. One less variable to think about. But the core seems to alter the connection perceptivity of my persei top. Atm, I cant fire any 3.7v carts at all with batteries. Im bodywarming my top to see if it helps. Any other/better suggestions would be appreciated @THC SCIENTIFIC or anybody.

I got scared I totally lost my ability to fire my persei on the go, so I panicked.

Now I received my kiss bundle with a rebuild kit, so I will explore more the 7.4v. Iirc, I had 0 missfires at 7.4v, with batteries or the core. But I still would like to understand and have solutions for what happened. What variable affect my persei ability to connect a 3.7v carts. It might come in handy someday. Like I might need to keep my persei at bodytemp to be able to fire it in the cold winter? Cool it down on the beach?

Im quite lost and lose my temper quickly, out of ignorance, when a on/off button gives a third results. Thanks for the help. But like I said, the troublesome 3.7v will take the backseat while I explore the flawless 7.4v realm in the next couple of days :)

Waiting to order an 8 when the SR74's come back in stock. Along with the 8, SR74, AW 18350's & CORE, what do you all recommend I order along with these items to get the best experience. I already have voltmeter, nitecore, globe, donut and KISS ti carts... Holding off on the nibbler for now. Replacement parts for the SR74?

95+% of my use is SR71 + Persei head + core. (i cracked my Nibbler and haven't been using it lately)

I have been liking the 7.4v kiss cart over the 3.7v because I can get a nice cloud off of a 1.5s button press instead of like 5 seconds with the 3.7v. This also seems to give me some extra hits because it seems to cook less oil.

I was enjoying my SR74 so much, I added an SR71 to my arsenal. My SR71, using the same Persei top and Core, is producing bigger clouds faster and easier. The outside of the SR71 gets hotter than the SR74 as well. Is that typical? If not, is it possible that one not quite right? SR71 running too hot or SR74 running cool for some reason? It is different batch of CO2 oil, so that could be a factor as well.

Yup, it's normal. The SR-71 is a tiny bit more powerful than the SR-74.

I think you also have the potential to fuck up the herc using the v1 top as well.... Could be wrong thiugh

the only part i can even see being able to fail in the herc is the springs in the gold contacts on the 74 bottom adapter

My SR-74 bottom adaptor springs have failed. Actually only one side failed. There are 2 springs. One on the Cart side and one on the Top side. My SR74 gold rod holder has a spring that has collapsed as well. Sadly, these 2 parts are all that I have left of THAT Herc (sore subject :disgust:). On the bright side, I was able to order a new SR-71 so...:rockon:. I have had it for at least a week and it still hasn't seen any oil yet. I have been using my Omicron with the 3.7v KISS. I forgot how much I love the flavor of that combo. Then there's my new E-nail...:tinfoil: :science: :freak:

I torched my gold pin black cleaning it, the spring is not springy anymore but i adjusted the rod to compress the spring completely and she still fires...

i was afraid that would happen if i heated em too much so when i cleaned my herc i just let it sit in a shot of everclear for a while and then compressed the springs a few times to make sure everything moved freely seems to work pretty well

I never heated those parts. The bottom double-spring loaded adapter I have always soaked in ISO and I semi recently bought a new one when it didn't regain springiness. The spring loaded gold post has always come back for me when I iso soak and then boil it in distilled water. However in between cleanings it can get stuck and then I do as @bdmonkeyj3w does and simply adjust my rod to the correct depth & makes contact just fine.

for laughs ill show u what I'm using in interim :) ( i gotta figure how 2 post the pic but its working dandy -- home parts after my glass broke :) )

so very highly recommended for taste and ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CORE -- at least you can run it with lil mini battery and it will really work super well compared to imo the necessity to use core on the 7.4 rod due to my own battle --

I started with the 3.7 cart since my core n top outa commission -- and it reminded me of the nice fresh taste -- since the oil doesn't get so hot --- but i just love going back n forth -- i play no favorites anymore :)

P.s. -- i saw the spring talk -- that just started happening to me too recently .... i don't thinkit will make it through the next cleaning :(

i gotta check and see if any more sr 71 are left ??

also gotta see if they sell the spring ?
