Me, I find it easier to let a fly out the front door than to swat it. But I'll step on, or even squish with my finger almost anything else without compunction -- not in my house! Over a lifetime, I know, that's a lot of karma to build up, but...

And I'm a vegetarian, though I do fully support and encourage my cats to deal with the mice.

I try not to fuck with spiders. Most are our friends.
Most are harmless, and they do a good job of eliminating the numbers of more annoying pests.

I'd love to be on a friendly basis with all creatures great and small, but I wouldn't let my best friends hatch a hundred teeny-tiny babies that repel from the ceiling onto the bed or dining table when least expected.

I dunno. That's a problem I almost never have. I've never found it to be an issue.
