For my part, I wholeheartedly hope that Morwood vaporizers will remain accessible to as many users as possible, and that they won't be reserved for a wealthy clientele (that would be really sad). There will always be someone stronger and richer than you. Which would considerably limit the possibilities of acquiring a Toad for people with limited financial means. Personally I find the current price coherent.
Dan seems to be an extraodinary person, for the anecdote some time ago I indicated to him that I did not take part in the lottery because it was generally at the end of the month (because I never have any money at the end of the month), and well the following month we were entitled to a lottery at the beginning of the month, that proves that Dan tries to do the best whatever the financial status of the purchaser, and I find that formidable (really great), unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to win the lottery (I'm not a lucky person, but that proves again the ethical sense of Dan). I admire all that. Ideally, I would like people who have already won the lottery to leave their place to others in order to maximize their chances of success (some have been waiting for a very long time). But I can understand that altruism isn't for everyone. It has nothing to do with luck.

Yeah, I confess I've been watching Dan's work for so long that I haven't kept up with progress since I got my Toad. I hoped that time would pass more quickly that way!
Even with the Toad slowing things down I thought we'd be done with batch 2 by now.
Obviously I'm kicking myself for dropping out of the Nomad II list early-on, but ya can't buy what ya can't afford, so I had no choice
.I love my Toad, and Nomad I, but the Nomad II has surely got to be Dan's best design (so far!).
I can afford a N-II now for the first time in years, so I'm going to hang on and pray that Dan's still making them come batch 4! (and beyond).
Anyone here got any of Dan's pipes or other non vape pieces?

Dude I wish; I contacted Dan about having a pipe made years ago but he's just not in the position to make them, being as busy as he is.
I hold hope that one day Dan will have enough time and the urge to go back to them and I can one day own one.
It's one of the only ways I'd happily not fuck combustion.

I know what you mean, the pic's I've seen of his pipes etc are just amazing. I'd never buy one myself as I'll never smoke again and it would be a shame to own a 'tool' like that just to keep in a trophy case, but hoo boy they're BEAUTIFUL objects and I can understand how a combuster would want to own one.
The vapes though, now they're the business. If I were Dan I'd stick to them (and accessories ofc) as he just makes the best on the market. There's an argument to be made that other high end vapes which are easier to get or afford could be considered 'better', but if we are just looking at the items in question themselves, and the function/build quality/aesthetics then there's very little competition out there, and what little there is falls short of Nomad/Toad levels of excellence (IMO).
It's possible his pipes transcend all others out there as well, but I just don't know as I've seen some astonishing carving on 'traditional' pipes and I don't really know the scene.
I do love to look at them though

His pipes are museum art pieces, no need to smoke from them!
And from what I've seen, his pipes are BY FAR the most beautiful on the market; I've never seen anything even CLOSE. It's not surprising, same as his vapes.

I was lucky enough to catch one of my favorite Nomad 2 !
It is currently in a truck or a plane... and is getting closer to my house...
it should land before 2024

if FC was not my main friend, I would have waited at least until batch 2 was released before posting here... but Fc is my main friend...
and it's a difficult pleasure to keep for me!
No shade meant on my behalf hahahahaha. Wasn't directed at you! You got one and I'll always be jealous of that, but that's kinda where it ends. And just for those of us winare in the waitlist I know it's not fair of me but I always go "I didn't even order exotuc wood!!!". Legit all my woods were the basic ones. I just loved them. And as my mate said when I asked his advice "it's stupid expensive anyway, the fancier wood doesn't add much price wise, just go what you like".

so grab a Nomad 2 which is on my podium...
and yes... I'm trying to hold back so as not to fuel any bad feelings this Christmas time, but the photos will obviously come!
as usual, Dan's photos are incredible... I've been looking at them several times a day since I paid two weeks ago
