Indeed. I am rather excited!! I got on the list in late January 2018, and my number came up in early october. I paid in mid November and have been getting more excited over time ever since.
Once Dan was getting into batch 3 he began giving us bi-monthly updates with pictures and stories of the various steps and what was going on with the creation process. Those posts really kept my patience at bay, and I looked forward to them every other Sunday night. That extra touch made the whole waiting process so much more tolerable...and even enjoyable. It made the anticipation fun.
It's almost my time, and I am sooooo looking forward to it!
This is my paper. It's the Lacquered Yuzen. It's suppost to be the most durable of the papers and it has a tactile raised texture to the image in the paper:
I think it will look great with that golden amboyna burl and the contrast with the african blackwood collar should me very striking. I think I will be happy with my choice.
And yes...A huge thanks to everyone who is posting pics of their Nomads. You are all gentle-men/women/or-whatever-you-identify-as of scholar! You are all awesome! I'm loving all the recent the Nomad-porn!
You'll get your number when your name comes up and Dan is about ready to start the process of figuring out and confirming your order. Your time will come, my friend! And I can almost guarantee it will be worth the wait!
Yeah, I imagine I will explore some naked evenings with mine. I have no plans to ignore that beautiful body.
(you're welcome posts-taken-out-of-context thread)
Congrats, fellow Batch 3 friend! We all know that we are most certainly the most amazing batch ever!
She's purdy! I'm so glad your nomad is such an exhibitionist!
