Not completely finished, he still has to wax it and do a couple things but I think it looks amazing. Can't wait to get it and try it out! (Dan said the streaking in the paint will naturally go away when he applies the wax in case anyone was wondering.)

I think a natural green/raw Kraft combo would be what I went for if Dan had felt unable to do the ox-blood red I requested.
Looking forward to seeing it's final waxed look

So excited to see another batch go out into the wild. You guys are going to be so jazzed when it arrives, I use my #36 almost every single day. Really the only time I don't use it is when I'm running low on material- then I just use the vapcap. Can't wait to see all the pics. Cheers and happy labor day, D.

Just got a look at mine, I went for an unusual wrap & was a bit unsure about my choice after seeing all the beautiful pics here.
The paper I picked is the same as the wallpaper in my bedroom when I was a kid in the 70s. I didn’t like it back then but when I saw Dan the same paper available I just had to have it.
Turns out it looks fantastic on the Nomad.
Maybe I’ll look into a new image hosting site so I can share. I haven’t bothered uploading pics on FC since the Imgur thing.

Just got pics of mine...for the first time in a while, I’m actually going to try and post a pic...haven’t since the Imgur bullshit. I went simple, all cherry, nothing exotic, Abalone button. But the paper...it’s this deep dark black cherry with red dragonflies. Fuck me to tears, this is craftsmanship on a different level.
I have no idea how Dan does this and eats. The attention to detail, divided by the time, volume and price is beyond my comprehension.

@Ramahs do you mind reminding me which paper you chose? I know we share a similar taste on several things and now you got me wondering if we both like the same pattern.
@Copacetic red & black are one of my all time favourite combinations. Was definitely leaning towards something in that combo... but I’ve got plenty of time to obsess over the details and vacillate endlessly. I’m not in a hurry to get all OCD over it yet because once decided then all that’s left is the waiting. Which is the hardest part.

Sucks that the uploading process is rather convoluted here (and definitely limits how often I bother) but even if you never do it again, go on and share one with us please! Love seeing all these current units getting close to being finished.
Been doing my initial consultations and idea crunching e mails with Dan on Nomad #133.
Going with one of my favorite species, Koa for the body and a Cocobolo collar with an Abalone button.
Went with a calm under water scene paper to be the yin to the yang of my rough Tsunami scene on #001.
Dan is great to work with. He put alot of thought into some of my sleeve ideas and wood choices, and was willing to take on some of the more challenging sleeve ideas. But in the end, I kept it more simple. If you can call anything Dan does, simple.
