If you're on the fence about upgrading your OG with a wooden case: do it. Really excellent build quality: makes it into a truly artisan device. Fair warning; you do get some wood scents through the chamber now so it will affect flavor a bit.

Thank you to @ETNAMAKER for such a slick piece and for making me the CU and stand to match.

How long have you had it for? I wonder how the wood will hold up against time.

Does the unit get too hot to hold?

Beautiful!! I might have to do mine too

The wood is actually an even better insulator than the original case so heat isn't even remotely an issue! I run mine up to the max temperature to finish off a capsule and it barely gets warm now. With the original housing it would become noticeably warm (not uncomfortable, though).

I think it will hold up very well. It's a good bit thicker than the original plastic and each side is machined out of a single piece of wood so the construction is very solid. The stand and cooling unit are even more sturdy as they're even thicker chunks of olive. Olive is a fairly durable and dense hardwood in general and it's resistance to decay and rot make it good for longevity.

I've only had it for a few days now but I think with a bit of extra care (conditioning and cleaning occasionally) it will last even longer and age better than the original plastic over time.

Did anyone figure out what model the mighty display screen is?

I know how to solder and would like to replace it.
I just need to know if there's a similar screen i can use on aliexpress?

I too am asking the same question. I'm a recent first time Mighty + (Medic) owner and always appreciate a tidy storage option. I did get excited when I saw a Vapecase specific to the Mighty on POTV, but on closer look it's been out of stock for years, likely discontinued.

The S&B case looks smallish but good. I was going to look at other hard case options, like pelican types, or knock offs.
I really like the Delta 3d Studios Mighty case for holding just the device. And I also use home 3d printed cases to hold 9 dosing caps. These are capped at both ends so fresh caps come out of the top, used ones reenter through the bottom. All very smell proof.

Which cooling stem/adaptor is recommended? Mighty OG.

Did a little research and found 2 adapters that caught my attention.

1) POTN - the adaptor appears to be the same size as the cooling unit. No cooling provided but allows the use of cooling stems.
2) Many vendors - the adapter is round and is placed the directly in the oven. Allows for cooling stems.

Anyone know which one is better?

I've been using the S&B dosing capsules for years. Should I be considering using a better (if there is one) brand?

The POTV one is good because it gives you options compatible with other devices, and it's soft, so it won't damage your device.

These other after market stems that place directly on the oven use plastic that may risk damaging the device, and it's not interchangable with other devices.

My personal preference is a 3rd option: https://vgoodiez.com/products/crafty-mighty-glass-cooling-mouthpiece-by-vgoodiez

Has anyone had any luck with S&B helping with a mighty or crafty that doesn’t work and is past the warranty?

Yes, very much so. My Mighty's case cracked, at the interface with the cooling unit. It may have been weakened, or developed stress fractures, when I was using an after-market WPA, and it broke while I was using the S&B loading funnel. It still worked fine, but when they introduced the Mighty+ I was afraid parts availability might become an issue, so I decided to send it in for repair. It was a few months out of warranty, and since I believed the damage may have been caused by a non-S&B accessory, I requested a repair, not a warranty replacement. I was up-front with them about the damage, so I expected to pay for a new case.

I was delighted when they just sent me a new unit. I have to admit, I'm not very fond of the Mighty, but I'm a huge fan of S&B.

Half the posts I remember from people having to deal with SB repairs are like Cannabiker’s, from the remaining half I remember they asked 70€ for changing the battery on a Crafty, but it was pre Crafty+ launch. Even if their prices are usually higher than retailers they also used to stuff orders from their internet store with free accessories, when getting a new vape.

Welcome myself to the Mighty Community 😄

Lately I added an OG Mighty to my collection, mainly because it’s an icon and I got it for cheap. I wasn’t expecting too much from that old lady, so I started with 210C right away. This turned out to be a great idea. The Mighty tasted more intense than my Venty and delivered a longer session with a darker roast. I just love it!

I did more comparison and decided to sell my Venty. Also I got another OG for convenience 😁 I totally wasn’t expecting that to happen, but this downgrade is an absolute upgrade for me. Anyone else preferring the OG Mighty over the Venty and even over Mighty Plus?

Greetings, I love my Mighty Plus...I use it everyday...its consistent, flavorful, durable and dependable always...the Venty is an amazing vape as well its just that my relationship with Venty was really rough in the beginning when it had EO4 problems...

I use my Volcano everyday...it is remarkable.

Where are you finding OG Mighty stock? I'd love another.

Interesting how you like it better than the Venty. I was thinking I'd get one as the price comes down but now wonder if it would be worth it compared to my Mighty.
eBay. There are barely used ones for the price of 1/3 Venty, if you’re patient.

Test the Venty if you can. It’s smoother, heats up quicker and vapes faster due to double the airflow… that’s what most people want. It’s just not for me. I do quick heavy hitters mostly, so when decide for a session instead, I like it to be longer. Guess that’s one of the arguments for the Volcano @Dr. G ?

The Volcano bag is a huge session and long....I do two of those bags. Effortless and it medicates really well...to say the least. Clouds for days...flavor for days...it is the perfect machine. I truly love my Volcano and S and B products...all three of those products are ace...perfect for 'on the go'...or when you want to just sit in your lounge chair and use the Volcano to relax. Cheers everyone...enjoy your vaping in good health and spirits. Ciao.

How exactly do you do "quick heavy hitters" with your Mighty?

Hello dear community! I bought a mighty and noticed that when switching the temperature by pressing a button, when one white digit replaces another, some segments of the digits slowly and gradually appear (two seconds) and it can be difficult to immediately understand what the set temperature is. Is this a marriage or should it be?

So after ditching the Solo 3 due to its finicky packing and extremely hot vapour I decided to go back to old reliable for my session needs. Cutting edge on demand vapes are nice but there’s something to be said for kicking back and enjoying a gentle session.

I’ve owned a Mighty plus in the past which I adored and was looking to rebuy, but got offered an old, well loved OG for £70. Of course I snapped it up!

A few differences I’ve noticed.

The OG is heavier, which I like - feels rather sturdy whereas the plus was a little too light and cheapened the hand feel a little.

While the heatup time is longer, that extra mass in the heater seems to be giving me more robust clouds at 210. With less recovery time needed.

The buttons feel more clicky and just nicer in general.

You get a lot of extra accessories that you don’t with the plus.

The battery life seems as if it’s better? Also the barrel charger is a little less convenient but not the slow charging ballache I expected.

I’m getting more “bickle tickle” with the OG - maybe the uncovered aluminium in the bowl? I’m not sure but also not too bothered.

Honestly I feel as if I slightly prefer the OG as of right now.

Does anyone else feel the same?

The Mighty is even better than the Venty if you like a session.
I got exploited with the Venty using level 3 airflow, but when I got back to the Mighty I realized that those little Mighty puffs get you more baked than Venty's big rips.
If I'm low on weed I would immediately switch back to the Mighty, otherwise the absence of any bickel tickle and open airflow are too fun on the Venty.
