The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

In this case, because @Sn4Pz is saying there is very little to clean in the c/u, maybe the quick clean each couple of days should be just the stem, a very easy procedure, and you don't have to open the c\u, could even be done without removing the stem. Swab it out with lightly iso'd q-tip. Doing it while warm from a session would be easiest. (that can go for the c/u swab method @Moses Baca is suggesting as well).

I have to say that I do not like how Troy opens the c/u -- while it is mounted on Mighty's weakest area. (6:02 in video) Why put stress on that area? I suggest fully removing c/u before breaking down its' halves.

Wipe it out warm, no need for iso unless you're doing a deep cleaning. It takes less than a minute to do the whole cu plus the mp.
I always remove the cu from the unit before cleaning, too.

Alright folks, what do you guys do about rezzy mouthpieces?

I've had the mighty just shy of 2 weeks now, have put it through 5 to 6 sessions a day, as well as 2 complete cleaning sessions. The first three days after cleaning are a dream, nothing to complain about at all... and then the mouthpiece gets sappy. I hate getting sticky lips, especially when im not at home and cant simply grab some iso. Id like to fix this somehow while still keeping the stock mountpiece, since apparently it fits best

Could terp pearls be a solution? Stuffing them by the dozen into the cooling unit so the vapor can potentially be cooled enough before it hits the mouthpiece? Frankly the cooling unit and mouthpiece become so hot when I vape indoors that its quite uncomfortable, although its towards the end of the session so i just cut it a few hits early... so who knows how much the pearls would even make a difference.

Coming from the Ghost, Fierce and Dyna I figured this thing wouldnt need maintenance twice a week :(

e: and the worst part is that the rest of the cooling unit is fairly clean! Theres for sure buildup, but not to the point you would imagine

I added some 4mm boro balls to my cooling units and the hits are definitely cooler. This might help you a bit keeping reclaim lower in the cooling unit but a more important factor would be iso soaking your cooling unit immediately after a session once it's too dirty. Give it a few minutes to soak or start scrubbing right away with a q-tip and it'll take you less than 5 minutes to clean. Adding balls will increase your cleaning time most likely and I would recommend a little metal strainer to be safe but the adding cooling to the vapour is worth it imo.

Does anyone know how well the mighty cooling unit survives against 95% ethanol?

I was cleaning my mouthpiece yesterday and pulled out a string of "wax" that was actually stable at room temperature. I imagine just filtering the plant material out (with some luer lock filters) would let me get some fairly nice material for edibles.

Anyone use gold plated capsule for Mighty ?
Some FCer pointed out to the makers that the gold plating can be easily scratched off by normal use. Below that there’s copper that (according to the FCer) isn’t safe for that use. I didn’t investigate further because I’m not using the mighty and I have plenty of regular caps.
if you look on “vapor related equipment” section there should be a dedicated thread.

Yah, I have another Mighty with a fucked display, at least the original still has a couple of months warranty left on it,

The same has happened to other Ozzie owners too, I wonder if it is just not built strong enough for our road systems that are quite bumpy compared to German Autobahns?
Any news on a Mighty+ yet?

Well, Cream City Vapes disappointed me again. Their phony "tracking number" said my Mighty would be delivered on Saturday. It wasn't. So... after that it told me it would be delivered today, Monday, between 12 and 4pm. It wasn't. Has anyone here ever had a tracking number that was phony?

I'll let you know if my package ever gets to me but right now I'm not a happy camper.

Generally you have recourse if paid by credit card. Please keep us up to date so that we know if they are reliable (doesn't sound like it though).

They're communicating now, and saying that it's USPS's fault and if the package doesn't get here I need to deal with them.

I'll let you know what happens. The tricky part is that now twice the Tracking # has said the package was "Out for Delivery" and it was not. I feel vaguely confident the package will get here eventually but I'm a little worried the P.O. is going nuts.

I think the problem is with USPS, not them. I've had handful of mishaps for my packages, rerouted to incorrect zipcode.

It helped for me to file a claim here:

Hope that helps you.

Are you tracking through the USPS.com website? It should tell you if the package is actually there in your town/city, and there should be a reason code for the non-delivery. If the package is there, call your local Post Office and arrange to pick up the package if they are having problems delivering it.

Cream City Vapes always treated me well. Bought from them many times. No way they gave a phony tracking number. These comments are slanderous. Everyone knows USPS is fucked right now. Lets talk about vapes instead. Tired of hearing about peoples shipping issues. :peace:

To increase time between cleanings you could purchase 1 or 2 additional c/u's, or in your case maybe just a handful of mouthpiece stems. Iso soak for 5 stems takes same effort as for 1.

As vapor cools, it condenses. Vapor that condenses is vapor that did not reach the end user? (My effort is rarely in that direction.) I'm certain that pearls would cool the vapor more, while leaving that much more behind, never to reach you.

It sounds as though you may be vaping at very high temps? and maybe taking hits in pretty quick succession? so the vapor is staying very warm -- making c/u & mp hot -- and then it is condensing at the last second, in the mp. This builds up in the stem and finds its' way out when heated.

I think maybe this will happen more with some strains than with others?
Is your bud dry? Maybe after grinding some, let it sit a day to air dry before vaping.

Actually, I don't know a 'solution' for you, maybe try starting at lower temp and ramping up through the session?
Less graceful, but you might try adding a short length (2" ?) of silicone whip tubing to the end of the mp, to mitigate the hot touch you're feeling on stem and to 'catch' the sticky before it reaches you.

Interesting issue; I'm curious to see what some other folks think...
What size of tubing works best here? Got any favorite vendors? I see Airizer has options, but I'm just wondering if I can get around paying $30 for 2" of tubing, and the glass I won't use that comes with it. 😝

The first tubing I ever bought for this kind of thing was from Arizer; it was what I could find at the time (and a lttle less $ than that). It worked out okay and I eventually used both pieces of glass for one thing or another. One is a glass 'mouthpiece' I use all the time with whip tubing. There are better options, for just the silicone.

I have been buying bulk, like 25' at a time or something, since I use a whip with water piece sometimes and I like to have it look clean now and then. The purchases are years apart.
I buy high temp/med grade 5/16" id/ 3/8" od. I've used the stuff to run a 'direct hookup' from the filtered water tap to my Mr. Coffee.

As you shop, look for high temp silicone , and the stuff that is opaque, it is more flexible than the 'clear' tubing.

I think you'd be looking for this size or slightly bigger (3/8" id?) to attach to Mighty's mouthpiece stem.
Found it! here;

Best whip tubing I have found by far.
I have not tried this specific product (and someplace they do describe it as malleable), but in general, I have to say I still would prefer the silicone over vinyl. Their reason vinyl is 'the best', that silicone collects oils and dirt from your hands, is not a factor in my opinion. Every so often I rinse my whip - just the outside of it - under the tap to remove the grit it can tend to pick up.
But the silicone is far more flexible and stretchy (not to mention temperature rated), so it can adapt to a wider variety of applications, and I find it more cooperative when passing as a whip.

I have tested both extensively......... Eleven8's is a better product.

Perhaps a random question, perhaps addressed elsewhere out here. I use the dosing capsule and sometimes a complete capsule is more than I want. Is it better to pack a capsule half full ... or pack it full and return to the unvaped flower another time? (I realize that "better" may have a few meanings. The taste is probably better doing two half doses. I guessing I'm asking in terms of the efficacy of the hit/inhalation. Is half a dose too small to produce much vapor?
