Man sometimes eBay is just the worst especially for someone who is so impatient like I am.
I bought a used Mighty last Sunday and paid for it the next morning at 07.00. The ebayer stated a shipping until Thursday/Friday. Unfortunately I am afraid that he hasn't shipped it yet because I am missing the tracking number and I didn't get an answer to my very friendly inquiry this morning. I think every stoner can feel how longingly you wait for your equipment and the seller surely knows that too. Especially the weekend is ahead of us and if he should ship tomorrow, the mighty will probably not arrive until next week. So I gotta smoke a week longer and waste more dope x(.

Fml :(

Thank you bro :).
Yeah it was quite good I guess, I paid 180€ for a mighty medic in good condition, although the production date is unknown to me. I've had a few mightys before and after some time of regular use the case and especially the ribs get so dusty, even if you keep cleaning them with a brush. The case of the mighty I just bought looks still clean though.

And still... not shipping after 4 full days after payment + ignoring 2 very kind messages (which is actually worse since I cannot know what's going on) is not the way I treat my customers and I sell a lot privately. Would have bought a brand new one if I had known this :D. Nvm don't wanna keep crying now lmao. Just hope he will ship tomorrow at least.

Have a good day guys :).

Wow that's really incredibly cheap!!! Nice shot! May I ask where you live?

Here in Germany the prices of the Mighty are pretty stable... I've checked web shops from time to time and the best offer I got so far was 250€ + a stand.

Well 180€ for a used one is still a big number but seriously other auctions on eBay usually end at over 200€ and I am struggling to understand why you would want to pay so much for a used one instead of adding 50 extra bucks and get a brand new one instead.

Anyway back to my eBay seller. I managed to find him on Facebook lol and kindly asked whether he was okay and about the status of shipment. He gave up my package yesterday via express delivery (we shared the extra costs, which is cool) and well I'm holding my "new" Mighty in my hands right now :). Feels too good, to be back in the club! According the price and condition I can only say that I really got a brand new device for 180€. It was very rarely in use since you just can't find any tracks of use on it. It still vibrates very quietly like new ones do and the cooling unit is making a nice and satisfying *click* when you put it on the Mighty and turn it around. The ribs contain no dust, sticker looks perfectly fine. As you can see I know this device very well ;).

Plus it's the Medic version, which could be an advantage if I want to sell it again which will probably never happen again haha :D.

I started an RMA with S&B because of the broken housing on my otherwise fully working mighty, they offered me a new unit for 298.- €. Iirc a new housing was around 70€, or was the batterie replacement around 70€? Apparently they can’t service an used mighty and simply swap them out against a new ones for a fee...

Other story: pulled the power adapter out of the socket like usual and the contacts where left behind stuck in there. Luckily I went ahead to charge the mighty in another room where I wondered about the missing contacts and went back locking for what happened:

I
thought vaping might be healthier than smoking, didn’t thought of 230 Volts...

Hello.
I don't speak English very well, but I hope somebody can help me. I bought the Mighty last year and I love it and I clear it every week and it gives me good taste. Usually, I take a cotton swab and ethanol. I have never soaked all parts of Mighty in ethanol. I mean cooling unit and screen set. Yesterday I decided to watch the video from the official Youtube channel (
) and now I'm absolutely don't like the taste of my vaporizer. I used two different strain and I got the same taste from them. The taste is strange like worse from my first vaporizer from China it was Titan 2. So I'm absolutely confused and disappointed. What's my problem? Did I do all wrong? I put the cooling unit into ethanol for around 10 minutes and then I washed it from warm tap water and gave it to dry. All looked like new, but the taste it's doesn't good. Please give me advice on what can I do.:(

I’ve never had that happen. I’d re-rinse in mild soapy water, dry by fan, and perform a burn off at 410 for a 2 cycles.

Ok, I think I'll do it. I noticed that when the Mighty is burn off at 210 (410F) I see some fume from him, but I cleared him well. Exactly from this part. I cleaned it twice and turned on at 410 and see it again. The chamber and other parts are ok.
Maybe it taste like a new vaporizer because I don't remember. It sounds stupid. Thank you anyway.

Did you clean the parts from residues before reassembling the cooling unit? Did you let water evaporate before reassembling the CU?

Yes, I did of course. Clear from residues, put into ethanol 10-15 minutes and then warm tap water and drying. After that 2-3 cycles at 410.
Well, or it's the taste new vaporiser or I need to repeat it all one more :)

Hi there I know you mentioned English is not your first language so when you say you cleaned it in Ethanol do you mean ISO alcohol? Because I think ethanol is paint stripper? Maybe that's why it tastes off you definitely don't want to be inhaling that. Also sometimes grime can stick where the metal of the oven and the plastic of the bowl join. Maybe try scrapping around it with a wooden tooth pic?

When I said ethanol I mean it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethanol). At least I hope it is it. We used it for other purposes and I used it for Mighty, but just only with a cotton swab and it always was ok. Though I didn't wash under warm water. Just rub colling unit a cotton swab with ethanol and blow so that to dry.

I don’t believe ethanol is that much different than iso, but please check.

Could your ethanol have any additives (perfumes or the like)?
I am much more familiar with using isopropyl alcohol.

Ive tried ethanol, Everclear 151 is strongest I can buy in my state, but its been my experience that it does not clean the residue off the parts very well. Isopropanol or isopropyl alcohol cleans it very well. The cooling units have so many corners that I need to take a tool to it to get all the residue off. If I dont then I notice a taste when I fire it back up.

Seeking My Shangri-La
I picked up a tip from a wise member on this forum but cannot remember who. Pour your ISO into one of those plastic zip lock bags and submerge your Mighty parts. Then, place the zip lock bag into a bowl of VERY hot water. Every five minutes, gently shake the plastic bag back and forth. After fifteen minutes or so you should have totally clean parts (without the need for scrubbing). Just rinse off the alcohol. I use 99% ISO for maximum cleaning power, but I'm sure a lower percentage would work as well.

I don't submerge my silicone o-rings; I use an ISO dampened cotton swab to clean them and then rinse under hot water.

I've had my Mighty for over two years now and it is still in mint condition after lots of use. I've not yet had to replace one single part.

Hope this helps someone. :)

No, I don't think so. At least I hope. I think I need to use it several times after all maybe it will help. Maybe the first time when I used the Mighty the taste was the same.
Maybe I'm wrong and misconception. Tomorrow I plan to use it a couple of times so will see.

I go where the thrills are
I started using salt for my glass pieces. And I did notice a difference their cleanliness. I’m guessing a mild abrasive.
Salt is super helpful. Also someone on this thread recommended rinsing with cold water, which is genius....it really helps rinse off residual resin.

I put all the disassembled CU pieces in a plastic bottle with a tablespoon of salt. Let it sit for 30-60 minutes. Shake it vigorously. Rinse all pieces in very cold water. Voila....no scraping, no fuss. Works great. :2c:

Warm or even hot iso is way more effective so my advice is to put a cup of iso in the microwave. Watch out though, don't let it get too hot (if that's even possible I don't know). Usually a couple of seconds are enough! Get the cup out, put all the things you want to clean into it, stir around and wash everything under water in the end. Perfect and clean in just 2 minutes!

This is so far the best and fastest technique to me :). Save the brown iso and let it for evaporate for strong cannabis oil.

Thats a pity I always thought you could generally get a brand new device in exchange for your used one for 80 bucks...
