I wasn't crazy about the plastic look when I first saw the Mighty but after its high appraisal here I decided to get one since I would rather pay more and get a top of the line functioning portable. After using it I immediately got over all my past grips about looks and enjoy using it still!

The mighty was engineered so that everything has a purpose and function. And like @vapviking said, the fins serve the purpose of allowing the mighty to stay sufficiently cool. And then you also have to worry about blocking the air intake, which I believe comes from multiple sources of entry.
I am all about performance too!, I let my friend type that question, he is in the hunt of a flagship vape too, but he cares ro much about the looks!

Hi Everyone,

Do most folks here put the dosing capsule in before or during heat up or wait until it has heated to the desired temp? I tried waiting last night and felt it was a better experience but it may simply have been the fresh Nina Limone in the dosing capsule and nothing more. I guess I can A-B test it tonight but knew it was likely the collective brain trust here could steer me right.

I normally just put the dosing capsule and then turn it on, ill do a draw while heating up to get things flowing and taste.

I missed a 20% off sale yesterday on the Mighty, I celebrated father's day and passed out until today:ugh:, but before I started to drink I wan not sure to buy it since I cannot replace the batteries myself once the warranry ends, do you think I might regret no pulling the trigger on the father's day sale!!!!?

I don't think you need to stress over it.
i got Mighty in Oct. '15 and used it a lot for a couple of years. Then it went in storage (unheated/uncooled) for a year; that's supposed to be not good for batteries. The past year it has seen use several times a week, on average. Batteries last for 6 to 8 capsules. It takes a bit longer than it used to for Mighty to heat up.
I think when this workhorse retires I would just buy a new one (depending on advances in the market, etc.) rather than mess with batteries.
btw, with some help from forum here, it is possible to replace your own batteries.

Have you checked the price at Puff It Up? They generally offer a discount to FC members.
I will ask them if they can match the 20% I was getting in vapor.com, may be today I become a membem of the Mighty Family!!!!

Can somebody tell me what the coupon name the FC use in puffitup?

I mis-understood, thought you already had a Mighty!
Go for it.
I believe PIUp will take care of you. Make $ inquiry, mention FC.

Ended up buying a 2nd Mighty.
My one from 2014 had seen better days. But still lasted me a good while.
Crazy to think it's been that long.

I was so tempted to get a Ghost MV1 Stealth, but they seem really finicky to use in comparison and lack a number of features I really desire (such as pass through charging)

Have many people tried opening up their old mighty's?
My 2014 needs a battery replacement and the charger port connection is loose.
Are these things likely difficult to fix?
Any tutorials?

I can't speak for the port, but the batteries are handled!

I'm in the same boat. We have two mightys. And my og is from 2014.

The old one works fine, but the batteries are tired. And it's missing fins. I think I'm just gonna hold on to it, until s and b comes out with something new, and use it as a trade.

I have three. Two of them have tired batteries and are pretty beaten up now. I’d like to think that by the time this one is ready to be replaced S&B will have something new... but I seriously doubt it.
