There is a reason they call the mighty...

This is our golf vape. Earlier this year my buddy, new to the mighty, walked to the cart to repack. I was putting and didn't think anything of it.

I look over to see him stuffing and shoving and pressing and packing. I was like woahhhhh, dude we're not combusting. Too late, CU in place.

We proceed to hit this thing about 24 times over the next hole until he cried, no more!

Bottom line, light pack, tight pack, hard draw, light draw, long draw, short draw- this think flat out works.

Don't even get me started on the mighty through a hydratube...

Might try and reach out to S&B with the SN and see if it has the new battery even tho there is no sticker but it has the new box design.

I would say if there is no sticker you do not have the expanded battery!
Btw I dont even see anything wrong here... The distributors receive their new charges from time to time and at some point there comes a minor update from S&B probably to the same price. The resellers cant just throw their "old" mightys away, especially if there is actually no real difference.
My Mighty packaging lays down in the basement and I dont bother enough to walk down and check it but I am sure its from 05/17, too! Although I got it directly from S&B ;).

worst case would be the 'older' battery version lasts 3 years and you have to pay for a +30% battery exchange ;)

I also meant to ask. I learned about the humidity sensor from the thread. I am in/near water on a regular basis when it warms up. Kayak (thought I'd mention that one first, due to the earlier posts!) swimming, hot tubs, camping inches from a river. What are some Vapes I should look at, that are the closest vape to the mighty? Something reliable, portable, and water friendly. (Not getting it wet, but at least humidity friendly)
I haven't had humidity problems with outdoor use so far, but i don't use it in the rain ;)
The Vapium Summit claims to be a 'waterproof' vape - hasn't convinced me so far (only ebay hunted ) but it's not close to a mighty...
For outdoors i second @Slagzord - my favourite butane vape is the Vapman, it works in ANY weather condition  maybe add a Vapcap M (quick hits), Vaponic+ (smooth and easy to share) and Sticky Brick Jr (:goon:;)) for variety/added fun at good weather

it depends on the WPA, i've got the cheap 2- part glass and plastic 'screw just a bit' type...
A capsule lid upside down(so it's a plain surface) fits into the glass part as spacer pretty good and tight (bending the capsule lid-mid outwards can be added as fine tuning, nothing should rattle when shaked) - actually it's tight enough to stick the whole filled capsule into the glass or for micro loads just use the capsule lid in the glass as screen, but for clouds with caps imo it's best to have the cap pressed a bit into the chamber to get more heat penetration, or at least the same as when used without water

Hey all. My mighty turns 2 y/o this year. I want to send it to S&B to have it cleaned from inside and have it checked. Would S&B replace the batteries with the new batteries that last 20% longer?

Do not hesitate to send an RMA,his good reputation encouraged me and improved my expectations :clap::clap:, check it in my post back, send a mighty with 2 years old with the battery in decent condition andthey gave me back a brand new batch of a mighty new with accesories totally free and all in a record time  (since the package left my home)

luck with your mighty ! :leaf:

My guess is that all the new 2017 models, those with the boost mode and the haptic shut off warning, also have the new improved battery. They just started to add the sticker now for commercial purposes. For me this is logical, new model - all new features.

I was discussing the newly added boost and haptics with S&B (EU) in an email from Jan 2017, and then in July 2017 they confirmed to me that "At this point in time, there are no Mightys with a longer battery power" (only the Crafty then)
So this means your assumption might not be correct.

To take it even further, it looks like they improved the outer packaging in between the haptics/boost upgrade, and the new battery!
It seems they're not afraid to roll out any little differences whenever they want, or as soon as they become available, as opposed to storing a few up for a bigger multi-point upgrade.

The first mention of an improved battery Mighty sticker in this thread that I know of was member @Rai.Dar on Jan 6th only four pages ago, and the unit came from S&B Germany I believe.

It looks to me like they put the sticker on the box when the battery is improved, then they send out a newsletter after some time to allow a little distribution, shortly after they hit US and Canada.
The approximate timeline for the Crafty was:
Early July 2017, sticker appears on boxes (EU)
Oct 2017, Newsletter posted (EU) Re: new battery.
Oct-Nov 2017, USA FC posters mention having the sticker.

Also my Mighty was "born on" 11-2014 (thanks @MightyLife for that tip!), and my heat time after 10 months of use, was 77.7 secs
So it looks like heat up time has not been affected very much at all,
I've also just noticed S&B used the words "a longer battery power", indicating that the change was more to do with number of sessions?

Maybe you are right, @MightyLife has emailed S&B asking for clarification about this issue, so we'll soon find out.

Hi I did send a mail to SB a week back to check whether 20% more battery was because of better battery management or bigger battery and if the new version had any other updates. Here's the relevant part of their response:

"We manufacture the MIGHTY with a higher capacity of batterie(sic). Due to that, the MIGHTY has 20 % more batterie power."

They did not refer to any other updates, so i think higher battery is the only incremental update. No mention of when this update started(did not actually enquire about this).
I did notice the manufacture date of my Mighty purchased from SB germany is 08-2017(thanks to @MightyLife) and someone else here mentioned that 07-2017 did not have battery sticker. So I assume any Mighty with 08-2017 manufacture should have this sticker.

PS: Loving the Boost Mode.I have set the boost range to 30°C. Generally start my session at 180-190 range. When the vapor starts trailing I boost it to 210 and boom a few more clouds on offer. The mighty then defaults to original temp before switching off.
Of course pressing down the + button for a few seconds is no big deal but i always forget to wind down the temp to 180 before switching it off, hence the next time i start the bowl at 210!! Boost definitely helps absent-minded people like me :)

To me personally there is zero difference in wether I use the boost mode or not, unfortunately :(.
Here is my daily procedure: begin at 175°, take 2 draws and increase the temp by 5° until it reaches 210°. No sense to use the boost mode.
I also like to vape my capsule entirely between 180° and 190° and finally kill it with 210°. Sometimes I did use this mode to boost up to 210° directly, but after restarting the Mighty I still need so decrease the temp from 190° to 180°, so there is no actual reduction in pressing buttons to me.

The boost mode only makes sense when you keep staying on two temperatures only. S&B should also have implemented a adjustable start temperature in my opinion, so that you can increase the temps plus use the boost mode and return to your preferred temperature after turning the device off and on again.

Just my 2 cents, other people may think different about this^^.

You can get a terps heavy pre-draw on the way up, then the target temperature, then boost, so it strikes me as three temperature settings with no muss no fuss.

Great minds think alike! I was just about to say, I really enjoy hitting the mighty from about 250°F to my starting temp of 360°F. Get about two or three taste draws, then have at it!

Please start, I am waiting on my Hydratube and I want to get more hyped :D

A really good benefit for me using the Hydratube Is keeping the mighty upright...

WOW......ummmmm......amazing..... not to mention the fun Factor. Take everything you love about the mighty and double it! Anyone who used to love the mighty and maybe hasn't used it much lately, do it through water if you haven't tried it!

I use the bomb. I've been reading that it may rob some of the flavor but I blow such huge clouds and enjoy myself so much I don't even care!

Man oh man I would be super, super excited If I had a hydratube on its way to use with the mighty!

Thaaaaanks, now I will kill myself if it not arrives today :D

But yeah I agree. Using the Mighty through a water piece is so satisfying. I use a bong now, packed with ice, so that I can take really nice cooled hits, really like that addition of the ice.

Although using a bong isn't as "group-friendly" as using the vape as-is. I can take maybe 5-6 hits from the bong and than it's done. Compare that to my friends who are smoking a joint, and they are not even halfway. Ever since I stopped smoking I am not as much in my group when we are toking up, and I kind of miss that. I will never go back to smoking though (I accidently combusted with my VapCap yesterday after not smoking for a couple of weeks, oh boy that was rough) so I hope the Hydratube fixes this issue and I can vape with my friends while they get high from a joint. Needless to say, cannot wait!!

I'm looking for a tiny concentrate pad that fits in the capsule, the regular one dont leave enough space for hash.
I read somewhere, the concentrate pad of the firefly 2 fit in the capsule ? Anyone can confirm ?
For now I have cute a concentrate pad in half but the result is not great.

You got it! The FF2 concentrate pads are good to go. I find pushing the hash into a thin pancake helps when using SB pads.

How do you handle HOT dosing capsules?
I just experimented with a new technique as those capsules get hot and stay hot.
When the load is done, turn the unit upside down, hold the CU (top) in place while it is facing down,
and then unscrew the base which leaves the capsule resting on the CU screen/upside down.

It's now out in the open instead of in the hot chamber so cools quicker.

I'm trying to get to love the S & B capsules but still prefer the miniVAP Flexicones as they are much easier
to load and unload, and they can be unloaded immediately after use.

I do that too, it works out great.
If I'm dumping it out somewhere I just avoid painted surfaces for some reason, laminated furniture seems to cope with the heat OK.
At one point I was putting them onto a coin, then put another coin on top for cooling.
If you put them on your pants it should be denim, cotton or similar!

It always bugged me to know if the plastic magazine was heatproof so I asked them and they said it should be fine to put a hot capsule in it.
I've been doing it ever since no probs.
I mostly used your method of getting the capsule onto the cooling unit, then tip it into the magazine (or caddy).
But I was just looking and it should be easy to empty the hot cap into any part of the magazine or lid.

Do you mean you prefer using the flexicones in another vape or using them in the Mighty?
