So what is everyone's favorite starting temp?
Well for me the Mighty is used in a true portable style as I'm usually on the move or in a hurry & am looking for quick effective delivery - so I go in for the kill at 205°c from the very beginning or maybe even 207°c if I'm feeling particularly sassy :brow:

I stick with the one high temp, & in this fashion, imo, it's just like blazing a jay which often suits my particular needs or situation, and will be why I reached for the Mighty in the first place.

This lot in here will probably tell you that's way too high to start & you've gotta gradually creep up to the higher temps and gently tip-toe around those terps to be able to appreciate the full flavor the Mighty can provide.

But me, I don't generally have the time or inclination for all of that with this little beasty, & to be honest I have other vapes I enjoy for the flavor more than the Mighty.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll end up finding your own path & using it in the manner that suits you the best.

Oh, & by the way . . .

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUDE ! ! !

I guess it's a good day to get all high & mighty?

Happy Birthday @mitchgo61 ! You'll have lots of fun with it :)

When I got it, I was loving the lower temps, and still vape at like 370-380 more often then not, which is like a happy medium for me between low and high heat, gets me blasted. I've vaped bowls very quickly 400 though, and it works just as well, the vapor is still cool, but strong/thick so I still cough at the higher temps lol.

I really like it with concentrates TBH, maybe because I'm on a bit of a concentrate honeymoon high as they aren't usually plentiful around me (but have been recently), but rubbing some BHO all over the top of my liquid pad and vaping that always tastes good and gets me destroyed. The oil tastes better in it then off a rig or my Dr. Dabber imo.

@lapsda00 it was suprisingly easy, and there was not as much stuff as I thought, it definitely needs washed though as it was tough to clean around the mouthpiece, as I was scraping and let it cool a bit before I pulled the mouthpiece off so it was just kind of stuck in there, didn't feel like reassembling and reheating and repicking lol. But, these taste pretty good, and they get me VERY blasted. Got two decent sized dabs from this, and was wrecked for a while. Picture quality isn't the greatest.

yes definitely because if you´re collecting oils with pick it does not clean CU. Use this technique just for collecting free oils and time by time soak CU in ISO and you´ll end up with clean newly looking CU.

Thanks for the advice guys, and the bday wishes. Very psyched to test-run this puppy in a little bit.

What a great vape to buy. Pretty pricey. I was going to get one but didn't want to pay so much for a portable. I may need to buy one soon enough. Or maybe it'll be my second vape if my first goes.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the vaping game (only owned a MFLB) and I was looking to step my game up! So far my eyes have been set on the top of the line, the Mighty! Money isn't an issue to me as long as the product is worth the price! After reading a lot of this thread I don't see it worth asking "is it worth it?" because all of you seem to love it so much.

I too wanna fall in love with a vape of my own. Before purchasing anything though, I do have a few questions:

I heard they updated the newer models with new fins? What are those? The little black things that are in front of the blue ring below where the CU connects? Are the new ones less prone to breaking?
I also heard they changed the auto turn off to a 2 min timer, is that true?
Some people have also posted things about their newer models having less battery life, is this true?
What serial numbers are these newer units?

Last question: The Arzier Air keeps pulling my attention to it, even after seeing people say the Mighty blows it out of the water. Especially because for the price of the Mighty I could get the Air and some attachments (extra batteries, GonG, case, etc...). Does anyone on here have both? If you could only have one which would it be?

I'm gonna be honest with ya..the air is a very good device..as is the mighty..I got my air first..when I used it I was like this is the best thing ever. Until I got my mighty..lol..but in all honesty for the price the air is a cloud machine..I get massive clouds on the lowest temp setting..I use the solo stem with dome screen and pack my material in there and put stem in unit and turn on and when it's up to temp clouds from the get go..and the mighty is obviously a beast and has also had more issues than arizer..not many people having to send their air back in. I think you will be ok either way you go..

That's weird. He posted on Reddit last week about how S&B had asked to handle all of PIU's warranty returns directly.

I have the same problems with the liquid pad. Everytime I post about it online I get told that I am not cleaning it properly. The nasty taste in the liquid pad gets impossible to clean out after a while. Adding a brand new LP solves the problem initially but the taste will return.
I use a stiff, slightly downward arched screen to push the material down/fill up some space. But I think I'm mostly filling my bowl completely.. haven't 'packed' it tight ever tho. Haven't even weighed how many grams approximately fit in the bowl..

Just did my first cooling unit cleaning. Ended up collecting four or five good sized dabs collected using a dab tool. It wasn't the best tasting, but the dabs were very powerful And fully medicating. Super clean too.

The mighty is an excellent vape.

I probably will have to get a crafty now too. Finished my appetizers at the restaurant and the Mighty was in the car. Would have been a perfect Crafty situation.
I'm curious what kind of tool you're using. And did you use alcohol to clean the CU or..?

Wasn't the mighty in your car a prefect enough situation? xD

i´am "cleaning" maybe a better word for me is collecting, some bits of oil every evening and this is what i got today :)

Please share your methods. Or is that not allowed in this thread? Maybe PM me?

Edit: Sorry, just now noticed this was already answered..

Make sure u use the edit button on your post instead if doing back to back post..the mods will be sure to let u know..just giving you the heads up..lol..I haven't had an issue with degrading battery on my new unit at all..but I might use it twice a day as I have many other vapes that need my attention but I get about 6 to 7 sessions on full charge..maybe more but only a few minutes each session..but with the heat up and all that I'm super pleased with battery..it's no minivap but it heats up a thousand times faster than mini..

I bought mine from PIU a week ago and I got one of the new units. Randy did say that only part of the shipment he received were the new ones though.

EDIT: I should mention this was before the "new versions" banner was up on the site.

I can't say for sure...but I appear to have received the older version yesterday.

Top fin is thin and not reinforced. Shut off time is exactly one minute. (Kinda drives me crazy!) Serial number, which may not mean anything, is 120xxx.

Works fine so far (after all of 18 hours) so no complaints...but it annoys me a bit if I have received an older unit. I hate feeling like the guy who gets the old stock pushed on him, even at a discount and fast shipping. I've emailed Randy to ask him about it, but it's not like he guaranteed me a newer unit, so I'm not sure he's gonna have a material response either way.

Oh well. Hope it holds up! :uhoh:

works from 350 up with nice clouds, effect. Material goes faster at higher temps. You cannot out breathe this thing. Pack full, half, but kinda tight with the S&B brinder. Dry material really makes a difference. You can sip, but it is so tempting to rip, I find I sometimes "over indulge" (is that such a thing?). I balance it with an AA (more of my sipper / conserver). But in all reality, almost no learning curve, you'll get ripped just about now matter what.

But answering the temp question specifically, I like to start at 365 and bump up to 375 when "I feel the need", then 386, then 400, 410 sometimes... It's all good.

The shutoff time was driving me crazy, but it's really not much effort to press it back on or to hit the temp occasionally....and I was very thankful for the autoshutoff when I passed out with it in my hands lol.

I too got an older version from Randy about a month ago, and my serial number is actually like right around the same #. Guess he gets a lot in stock.

the solo/air has some draw restriction (the air slightly more afaik).....
that was the main reason I got the mighty in the first place.........and I never used the solo again after buying the mighty.

I hear that. That's why I didn't buy the air. Restricted airflow. Mind you the mighty was way too much for me. I'm hoping Storz and Bickel come out with another one a little cheaper too.

Don't get me wrong. I think the mighty and crafty are cool as all get out.

I don't feel the need to own several vapes like I do watches lol. I spend $800 minimum on watches. Anyways back to my point, I own a desktop Vapir rise 2.0. Great unit, great vapor. Downside is it's not portable and I would like an economical portable that offers great quality like these products do.

We're all obviously biased, but the Mighty is money well spent.

I always said, how I wanted a collection of vapes, but had I just gotten the Mighty, I would have just been fine lol. Everything is collecting dust sans the Underdog.

@ginolicious PM me a nice watch or a few suggestions actually if you wouldn't mind...I was looking for one as a gift for my dad and I know very little about them.

Sell a watch and buy a mighty plus a timex. Got to have priorities man, and it's time to vape.

got both, love both... right now on an Air kick, digging the stems and such, but I'm sure I'll be back at the Mighty. The Mighty can (if you let it), go through material faster, not in a bad way, but it can rip.
