Toolbag v1.1 (candidate)

If you blow through the hole in the back, on the original boxes..(pre-click lock lid)you will find that it does indeed connect, and create an air path that will blow vapor.

I have seen people fill entire bags using the "for production purpose only" hole....

I say it all the time, and people ALWAYS argue the point with me, and explain how the hole is for production only.

I will go ahead and call it an air hole regardless.. and here is my proof:

Well, the hole is for production. It's actually really easy to see how it works if you just look through the battery hole. The hole in question does pass through into the heating chamber, but it's occupied by a rod. This rod might not block the hole completely as shown in your video—or it might, as it does in mine of the same vintage (verified by my similar test). Given the nature of the way it's manufactured, I think it's safe to say that air flow through that hole varies from LB to LB. In any case, air flow is not its intended purpose, and the pushback ring in later LBs makes it even less likely that any air will flow that way at all.

That new concentrate box is very sexy looking, 'course I'm into the whole SteamPunk thing. I can't wait to give it a test drive.

Cool. As a Steampunk fan have you checked out Vapman? Seriously cool, in that it's not just 'fluff' but a highly functional combination of metals, wood, minerals (mica sheet) and whimsy. I mean what else do you know that's made of pear wood?

I've got the MFLB, and a Beta concentrate box, they're both cool. But Vapman........

There are many I would like to add to the collection, but that Maud Dib box is next. Does the Vapman handle concentrates?

The original batteries are getting harder to get from reputable vape dealers that I support.
I gave in and bought a number of the new Glyph batteries.
One of the brand new ones that I purchased charges, and works well right off the charger, but loses it's complete charge just sitting, over a few days.
Has anyone experienced this?
I sent an email to Magic Flight on Saturday Morning, and will learn how to have it replaced, but wondered if I am the only one to see this.

I just received my new ones friday and one seemed pretty low powered after taking it off Saturday night and trying it about 20 minutes ago. Tha other 3 in tha case seem fine. Dunno if im imagining it, but it did seem low powered.

It wasnt completely powerless though.

Hi guys. So my power adapter (1st edition) just broke. The launch box isn't heating up no matter how I twist/move the "battery" piece. Any suggestions/DIY fixes/things I could check while I wait for the warranty process to go through?

My launch box is my main vape so it's pretty important to me ^^

I thought that too, but it's really makes sense. 2 obvious geniuses making hand crafted wooden vaporizers, with great materials and warranties. I'm sure they have much respect for each other, Magic Flight has the upper hand in marketing though.

Naw,its a beautiful little wooden Vape, Darn near a work of art. A marriage the Angels would envy me thinks.

Yeah, but they kinda occupy the same space in the market, eh? Both portables, both around the same price point with the only difference being the power source. I don't know, but to me, they seem to be more similar than different.

I agree lwien. But would a marriage between a rude boy and courteous gal really work for long ?

I'd say sundaddy got it right with the Mutual appreciation of the Vapman and Launch Box pep's.

Understood. I'm just strictly coming from a marketing perspective.

Seems odd to me also. Maybe they figured a lot of people would be buying one or the other and
they can make a sale either way?

Hey Guys! I've had my MFLB for around 8 months, it came with 6 new batteries, 2 Glyphs and 4 stock. They all seem pretty weak these days, I know I may have not taken care of them very well...
I constantly drop them, 2 of them got completely wet with water, I used to vape without realizing they were EXTREMELY hot, etc...

I "know" the batteries are the problem because some are stronger than the other ones... I can't produce vape clouds as before, does it sound like a battery problem?

Oh and I also have my trench pretty DIRTY, I haven't found iso alcohol in my country, they only sell it in big quantities and I dont need 5 gallons of that shit. Is there any other liquid I could use to clean it without damaging? The screen has some resin attached to the bars on the sides... They look like "hash".

Halp!

Thanks FC! I still love my MFLB :)!

That does sound like a battery issue, I'd recommend picking up a fresh set of Glyph batteries from Magic Flight. Just treat 'em a little better this time around, though. :D

Don't worry about the buildup in the trench, it's totally natural (as long as you haven't been combusting in there often). If you really want to clean it, then yes, a little bit of isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip is the best bet. I'm not sure of any alternatives, but maybe someone else can chime in. Be especially careful with the bars on the side, don't go trying to scrape off that buildup. There's a good chance of damaging your screen, and the gunk doesn't impair the function of the box.

Cheers!

About all the vapman talk, I don't care that MF sells them. To sell them they had to buy them bulk from vapman so he got his sale and MF gets theirs. Plus MF has way more leverage in the US market, I've seen only one other post about a vapman on other cannabis sites. vapman gets to fulfill orders for MF, and also gets exposure to another market for more potential sales.

About the cleaning thing... ISO is preferable since it's a clean solvent. I guess you could substitute Everclear? Or another very high-proof alcohol that has no additives. I think grain alcohol is what it's called? Just alcohol and water, no flavoring, nothing fancy.
