Didn't Mark Twain have a quote about that? Something to the effect (in science) you can get so much speculation for so little facts?

While testing the trays, I got to wondering what would happen if you took the heated screen idea from the box and used it to (directly) heat the trays. I got as far as thinking about rolling the ends of the tray over so the rods could be 'clipped' on Then bend the other two sides up enough to make the tray part if you didn't stamp that in.

Then I got distracted with some other lame idea

I think you're right, though, there's gonna be some serious interest in a such a gadget.......

For those who seek validation for this new MFLB concentrate box, look no further! I was told first hand by an MFLB consultant to hold off on buying a concentrate tray for my LB -"if concentrates is something your into - you might want to hold off and check our website later this month for something new and incredibly cool". This was a week ago...

Welcome to the Forum, great choice on the LB.

The difference is the box you bought is real. Read carefully, that's a joke. Zero gravity? Methane compatibility? Atomic power (why there's no battery)? But the big clue is it doesn't really fit in the pseudopod......at least not mine.

So, with some investigation. I have come to the conclusion that the Steampunk box will be a reality.

Ist thing is the original picture. I have enlarged it and looked extensively for photoshop activity. None. The setup appears to be just what the author said. A booth at the Emerald Cup. including the guy just sitting to the side in the background.

2. The box looks very much like a Magic Flight design. The rods are clearly visible, yet not the screen. This leads me to believe it is either solid and attached from the bottom of the rods or removable for cleaning. Also, you can clearly see the guy taking the pic with a camera. Don't think that would be the case for a proposed scam.

Anyway, just take my money already, Magic Flight!!

For direct dabbing perhaps? Also, that may be some sort of coil in the center of the trench. I thought it was a botton or something from the guy taking the pic, but not so sure now.

Just bought the box a couple days ago it arrived with a broken stem.. I messaged Magic Flight and they responded fairly quickly! I've been trying it native mode and it feels more natural. But I can't wait to try it with a stem and compare the two.

Native/stem, no difference effectively. Theoretically hotter native account no distance at all for any cooling to occur, but I bet it's indistinguishable. I've drawn from a 2 foot whip and it still feels the same. Practically it's a little more hygienic with a stem since you can remove it and totally clean it, even sterilize, if you care. On the other note, it does feel more natural native, because it has to be by definition.

I was told a couple days ago that the steam-punk CB picture that we all saw on Reddit, is the release design of the CB.

Since I was also told that we didn't have to wait to discuss it... here's a little clip of the test box w/ some wax...

That was too big of a load BTW.. ~half that amount would probably be better..
A friend of mine provided the wax, and loaded/hit it for the video.

Personally I think native is a bigger and better hit. I've got four stems and use none of them now.

Yea, it's interesting. I began with using it native for about six months, then went onto stems for a year or so but one for the last year or so I have only used it native. I actually started using it exclusively native again after I​

noticed a buildup on my stems and thought better in me than on my stem. But I genuinely thought I got a better hit using it native after using stems for so long.

I'm inclined to agree, I feel that the stem forces the vapor into a dense, small stream which has a tendency to be irritating to the throat. Whereas when I use my LB native, it's much less of an issue due to the vapor stream expanding in my mouth as I inhale. Plus, much easier to gauge the temp when going native

I never even thought of it that way, but you make an excellent point, Skippy. Off to find my LB and "experiment" since I've only used stems before. It's all in the name of science, you see.
