I've been wondering if i can use the oil collected in the glass stem. Its really started to compound, and i havent cleaned it on purpose. Thinking of giving it a soak in iso, then remove the stem and wait for the iso to evaporate. Good or bad idea?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's harmless. That's what I did when I took my first one apart, anyways. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary with it.
@cawshook, yeah you can reclaim that stuff too! What I do is break off a little piece of nug that will have enough resistance collect the oil when I push it through the stem, and after that I'll roll it up in some kief and throw it in my LB with a full trench. Works very well

I believe this was origionaly Vito's idea but all i do is run a qtip through the stem, cut off the cotton end, and stick that into my Solo stem. The cotton works wonders and it cleans the stem very well.
I save that cotton until I'm ready to knock myself out since I do not have access to any oil.

Sorry if I misunderstood, but are you suggesting i put the cotton end of the q-tip in my trench? Would that not burn the cotton?

Q-man's tip is better ,
you can also get a paper clip and put a flame to it , then use it to scrape out the stem .

I usually do the same thing with all my bud when I get it. If you roll some up into a tight little ball, you'll get the same results.
The Launch Box can get hot enough to combust cotton, so no, don't put it in the trench.

dont know if you can reply to this, but how do i know if my MFLB is a newer model or an old one? I bought it not long ago at a high times store. I heard the new ones are better somehow?

Screen got a tear somehow and it won't heat. Problem is it is small, I hope they don't give me any crap because it will not heat up at all now.

I'm positive you will have no problem with your warranty claim. Magic Flight has the best customer service.

I love magic flight...the whole way they go about building their vapes. By far one of my favorite portable vapes, the technique to hitting the box takes a little while to get down but once you do!!! Your golden!
In all seriousness, I have to watch my MFLB use It's quite easy to get much more medicated than expected lol it makes for the best sleep of my life but I don't get anything done! To think I shunned this device without understanding proper technique (I always understood the draw but I always had an absolutely full trench which does me no good). Now my VAS is running wild thinking about the accessories.
